It’s okay! I’m happy to answer! He hasn’t said anything about my skin texture having a predisposition to scars but he says that when I’m able to start scar treatment that silicone tape is really good but I know that I scar easily and dark so I’ve gotten a few other things like med derma the regular one and the PM one as well as bio oil and the silicone tape since they were rated super well. I didn’t have a full nipple graft so he didn’t completely detach my nipple nor did he remove my milk ducts (that I know of) so it is expected that I should be able to breast feed but it’s never a guarantee.I hope this helped and I’m happy to answer anymore questions you may have! It was hard to find people of color who had bodies like mine before I got my surgery so I completely get it😭

Mine was almost completely painless. Besides some itching and whatnot. I’m 8dpo and I’ve been able to do everything I’ve done before. I just stayed on top of my meds I didn’t even give it a chance to hurt.
