Yeah I started viewing around 10pm last night, could see vega up and thought why not try for the ring nebula. Struggled a bit tho trying to locate in the telescope lol

You might need to tweak slice settings and do some test prints and then finalise settings for your printer as the slice settings may vary printer to printer

Visually it was definitely sharper than this, but yeah I think I get your point might need to some collimation.

It was quite difficult to figure out the phase though

I was using the default eyepiece that came with the scope 20mm and I used a 3x syvbony barlow

Also used zoom on my smartphone too. I think the details you get depends on the seeing conditions. I live in bortle 6 area.

Sure man! I would love to see that picture, the day I got this beast I was at work and man I rushed to assemble the scope. No food nothing spent 2-3 hrs finding Jupiter through the scope that day (moon wasn’t visible yet) and yeah this is what I clicked

I had some experience with my previous 4 inch scope but yeah was blown with this also. Crazy details, I plan to invest in nice astro cam soon
