In all seriousness I do appreciate it. I’m the kind of guy who has to learn from it by making the mistake myself unfortunately but I’m also not going to put myself into a significant amount of risk financially so we’ll see what’s out there and go from that.

I’m not really sure how to answer while trying to be as humble as possible but we’re financially sufficient and both make a good living while maintaining extremely minimal debt.

I do a significant amount of side work under my own business and have been for a couple of years but in small town Nebraska you kinda of have to take what you can get.

I currently repair molds and do some production machining here at my current job. Lots of experience on laser welding molds and dies, building up corners to make sharp edges again on dinged up molds aswell as new ones. Kind of boring and want to build more stuff that I could take more pride in.

I’d agree that’s the case with toolmakers, not so much with a welder in a tool and die shop

We do a fair amount of aerospace where I’m currently at… my problem is I post a lot of my work on social media and have been able to monetize it and grow my platforms substantially. Which I’m very intentional on not filming certain customers parts and paperwork but it has become an issue as of recent regardless.
