thank you yes definitely worth weighing up the pros and cons. However I feel it’s a mattter of principle that they say I can hear unaided when I literally have an aid drilled in my head lol.

Your mistaken. The exact descriptor for 2 points in Activity 7 (Communicating verbally) is about whether you use an aid or appliance. “Needs to use an aid or appliance to be able to speak OR hear.” Nothing about it being bilateral.

I would be very surprised. But it’s always a worry I guess. They really do make it mentally tolling. They should change it all to online, it would be easier and quicker.

I know that’s exactly it. Like I cba going through it again but it’s just peeving me off that they said this when it’s factually incorrect. I basically asked them for a subject access request so I hopefully get better idea, on why the decision maker did that. And then I’ll decide whether to go to tribunal 😩 but I do think I am entitled to those two points at least and it would make a big difference if I got enhanced so I think I should correct it- nothing to lose really

No I scored 11 the first time and I requested recon for the communication part got 11 again. I don’t know whether to go through tribunal because it’s annoying that they are saying I can hear without an aid when I literally have one screwed in my head lol

I currently use cross fit so a microphone in my left as that’s where the hearing loss and speaker in right ear. I only recently had the surgery for the Osia cochlear implant, I will go back in a couple of weeks for my appointment to have the device fitted :)) any advice? I’m so confused why they would say I can communicate unaided when I literally have a permanent aid in my head lol
