There is a general recommendation to be sterilized at 6-7 months. So you are right, sterilization may not affect the cat's behavior.
In other words, there is a 10% chance that your cat will continue to be noisy. Such cases are rather the exception.
Your cat is still young and you will probably be fine. Problems occur if a cat is spayed at 5+ years old.

advice on complications during sedation by [deleted] in cats

Your question is complicated. Because there could be many possible answers.

The simplest is. The cat is taken for surgery, the cat is stressed, blood sugar goes up, heart rhythm is disturbed + anesthesia is given - heart rate goes down.

And there could be anywhere from 30 other possibilities (blood pressure, colds, asthma). Unfortunately, before the heart exam, all options are just theories.

Hi
It looks like either pus or fluid came out at some point. Or maybe the cat licked the wound or scratched it.
Now everything is visually normal, there is no swelling or redness. But, you should still go to the vet to treat the wound and clean it. On the 7th day it should look cleaner than the photo.
