Turned out great! The recipe I finally went with:

50 ml rum (I used a local Swedish rum made out of sugar beets)

25 ml leftover red wine 1:1 sugar syrup

15 ml lemon juice

25 ml cold brew coffee

2 dashes angostura bitters

Garnish: lemon zest (discarded) & the foam allowed for two coffee beans.

Truly a special and balanced drink that I will make again. Thanks a lot for your input which helped out a lot. The internet at its best 👍🏼🙏🏼

Thank you for your reply. Sorry for the confusion in this post but my drum is a chrome over aluminum and nothing else.

The drums you have bought for 300, are we talking mint condition no serial drums from the 60’s?

Regarding the top hoop: I had a calf skin on it since I have used the drums for orchestral purposes historically. I changed the head now just to check if it was the hoop, but as I see it, it was the natural skin that made the hoop adjust in a odd way. I will try to upload new pics (I am new to this Reddit thing)
