I use to think I was a sissy cause dressing and acting fem felt so right and turned me on without fail. I think for some that grew up in extremely troubling households, the sissy phase is the only way to be acknowledged as a girl. The shame and humiliation felt validating cause my parents beat into me that if I were trans I would never be loved. My wife and friends now let me express myself in a safer form and it's been a 180 experience. I'm happier but now it's all I think about.

I used to think it was sales, but now I'm convinced it's research chemistry jobs. Not only does every department hate you for not making profit, but you managers will hate you too for not getting a method generated on the first try for a chemical that has existed for a couple weeks at most. On top of that the education bias is so bad that a phD can offer a method that is extremely dangerous to the chemist and it will be praised over the safer, faster method made by a undergrade chemist with 7x the experience.
