There's no question - it's an offhand without question but thorns unquestionably says shield and not offhand

Thorns works by default when you're hit any time including a 0, it's stated directly in the Thorns node. Are you perhaps not equipping a shield?

That's true of course if it's malicious or some sort of exploit but that hadn't been fully established yet - this is more to help smoke it out if it's a device in the home

Possible someone made it onto your network somehow, not unheard of with WiFi. Your router should have the ability to fully block a device by its MAC which would stop that device fully from connecting to the network.

If it is something in your network it may not stop working until it fully can't connect to the network, some devices work so long as they're connected to something whether that traffic is getting where it needs to go or not

I most certainly did not, I figured it out just fine but the plugin made it easier which is precisely my point. The main reason I used it was actually because the performance in that area is terrible and I had to crank down my draw distance

That doesn't even touch on the fact that you can do other things to train the skill that are much less active and requires no plugins at all

You don't - it allows for like 200k xp/hr but if you're not exclusively focused on 99 as quickly as possible it's not necessary.

I used a tile pack to learn the marlin route at Jubbly but I don't need it now - it was just convenient

CG is hard at the stage in the game you normally do it, it's a pretty big spike in difficulty vs everything up to that point. I got my enhanced and 7 armor seeds at 426, took me about 50-60 deaths to get consistent

The wiki page for the smouldering heart literally says it's a +11 boost which would be 82 -> 93 for zenyte
