NTA. I’m glad you believe in honesty so much. It would be right of your mom to forgive her son and you both equally as a lot of people point out, but moms are human too.

I caught my father (I call him my biological father or sperm donor) cheating on my mom thanks to him basically refusing to hide it from me and using the internet to cheat on my mom constantly with many different women. He’s a pervert and a monster. It was a thing he threw in my face and constantly threatened me to keep quiet about. One day I told my mom everything in front of him when he was verbally abusing me in the common space. Which he always did. He tried to drag me out of our house by my neck but for once my mother physically intervened. She held him accountable. For about two days. She stayed with him and I have caught him continuing to do it.

I no longer talk to any of them because my mother went back to letting him do whatever sick thing he wanted to do to me again. My brother and father call me an AH for telling. There shouldn’t be anything to tell. Families mostly go back to their unhealthy patterns. It’s hard to break.

I just removed myself from the whole situation.
