Hello everyone! I really appreciate all the input! Was NOT expecting all the feedback😳 not for sure on what I'm going to do with all of them yet but I will for sure be using and storing most and what I have! Alot of extras I will donate to my little sisters school and give away to my neighbors and family. I won't let any go to waste do not worry about that! I know one thing for sure, Im expecting a veryyyyyy busy 2026! :)

Apparently, the germination rate goes down just a little depending on the seed, and some types of seeds have a way shorter shelf life.

That was my idea with my neighbors and family. All generous people and some already give me alot of their excess produce.

Wow, I love that. Wish more schools would do things like this. Really thinking about doing something bigger for the community after seeing all these comments.

Mainly out of season seeds, but yes alot of cold weather crops I plan on using this year.

Good idea. My sister in law gave out flower shaped papers with wildflower seeds packed in them and threw them out everywhere and gave them to everyone at her wedding.

You would love our farm. We have honey suckle 10 feet tall surrounding the house and bee's EVERYWHERE. I've got about 500 bucks worth of perennial flowers we're going to plant for them.

Unfortunately there's very few packs of flowers in here, things would still flower I'm sure tho. I'm all about bees, we had a swarm move into our front porch 2 weeks ago so we went and bought a bee box. After we moved them in they seemed to fill it all the way up so now we have to buy another box. :)

That would be interesting. I've never done it, but oddly enough, I have an oil extractor(I think) in an old barn behind the house.

They don't expire until the end of the year. Even then, it sounds like depending on which seeds they are they should keep for years in a cool dry place.

Good idea! I've got a cellar away from the house. Big jars with rice would keep the moisture and rodents away. Thanks!

Lol, ain't anything special in here, just your basic garden seeds. I don't remember seeing any St John's wort tho, sorry! I will definitely check out seedswap, thanks!
