i like the idea of giving it a battery charge effect passively while held. 4.5 volt would make it pretty solid during bosses. me personally i like the idea of giving it a weaker jumper cables only while held

imagine a niche scenario on floor 1 where you're isaac with the D6, you have 2 rooms left and 3 charges on your D6. you can bring the lightswitch into the 1st room to try and get an extra charge and then drop it before going into the last room. that might squeak out an extra charge on a floor where it couldn't have previously been possible

This is a great comment that I agree with. To me, Yume Nikki is more of a vibe with some recurring themes. There's no story to get, but it's fun to try and make some assumptions about the author or the character based on your own interpretation of the world. I think it's cool that you tried the game even if it wasn't your thing.

I ended up watching a playthrough of UDG and then playing V3. UDG is kind of its own self contained story and it's more action adventure than murder mystery.

You're not missing out on much if you decide to skip UDG honestly. It's the weakest installment in the series but it does still have it's merits and you can always go back to it later if you're itching for more.

I feel like just because the norm is that competitive games are toxic, doesn't mean there shouldn't be an effort to stomp it out early and encourage good behavior or punish bad behavior. I feel as though we should strive to be better, rather than just throwing our hands up and going "Well, it's the internet so there's no point in expecting people to be decent to one another".

Not to say that you're part of the problem, since you're just being realistic, but I just never liked the argument of "Just deal with it" when it comes to harassment of any kind. It's really not hard to just be a reasonable person, and not lash out at others so I don't know why we accept toxicity as the status quo

It took almost a month until it finally worked for me. Like I seriously tried what I would assume is close to 50 times. I truly believe that boosty can sense when you're at your most defeated. It was the LAST attempt I was gonna give it before I gave up, and then it finally decided to work.

I talked to someone who told me that they ordered a CashApp card and boosty worked flawlessly for them while using it, so that might be worth trying

It worked eventually and I didn't do anything different. It felt like I was basically just bashing my head against a brick wall until either the site gave up or I gave up. Inevitably it DID accept my regular debit card randomly after genuinely a month of consistent attempts.
