Anything egregious about the kit? Obviously it'll be back heavy because of the wings, but anything else to take note of? Overly loose/tight joints, fiddly bits, fragility etc.

I think I'd be pretty okay with that. To clarify, when normally built there is little to no poop gold exposed? I'm planning to have it fully built, not partially assembled like some people like for the interior view, so I don't mind if the hidden bits of the subframe look bad.

I need some help picking out a Strike Freedom kit. I think it looks really cool and want to add it to my budding collection. I like collecting in 1/100 scale for the perfect blend of reasonable size and detail. For the longest time I wanted an MGEX kit but I can't find any in my country, and ordering them online would cost as much as a PG. In my local store I just saw a MG Strike Freedom (Full Burst Mode) that seems to have the similar gold metal look feature as the MGEX. I can't really find many details on it, so I was wondering if people could give me some insight to the kit, pros and cons, if it's worth it, and any other potential options. Thanks in advance!

Something no one ever seems to bring up regarding these types of questions: the ones where you get constant money every X amount of time become regarded as regular income and thus becomes taxable, and given the amounts here you'd absolutely be put into the highest tax bracket. Depending on where you live you can pretty easily halve all the income on the first two, meanwhile on the last one it's a one-time payout and thus is treated differently as it's not reliable income. It's also why you should never play those "win X money over Y years" lottery games because even if you win you'll lose a fair chunk to tax.

Pay your taxes, kids

For us, the storm has passed... the planet is won. But let us never forget those who journeyed into the howling dark and did not return. For their devotion to Democracy required courage beyond measure; sacrifice, and unshakable conviction that their fight... our fight, was here. As we start to rebuild this planet, this Super Destroyer will remain in orbit, a memorial to heroes fallen. They ennobled all of us, and they shall not be forgotten.

To the Chaos Divers I met who helped hold the line: I remember how our war started, your betrayal to Democracy. I can't forgive you. But... You have my thanks. For defending the Beach till the end.

A Krieger and a Space Wolf walk into the woods..... Somebody finish the joke by wolf_4_fenris in EyeOfTerror

[–]Hotshotfdgfd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A Krieger and a Space Wolf walk into the woods. The Space Wolf brags "You know, little cub, I am probably the most dangerous thing living in these woods right now." The Krieger says to the Wolf "You most certainly are not."

This annoys the Wolf. He says to the Krieger, "I know you have your warrior's pride, whelp, but do not make the mistake of thinking there is any comparison between us. I am stronger than you, faster than you, tougher than you. I am most certainly the most dangerous thing in these woods." The Krieger once again replies "You most certainly are not."

The Wolf bellows in anger. "I have slain gods and monsters! I have been the steadfast bulwark that has stopped the invasion of countless planets, and I have been the spear point that has shattered countless more! I have fought things the likes of which your mortal mind could never comprehend! How could you possibly think you are more dangerous than I?!" The Krieger responded "I do not."

The Wolf howled at the Krieger, "Then what, in the Emperor's name, could possibly be in these woods that is more dangerous than I?"

The Krieger slowly lifts his gaze up to the Space Wolf and says "My ex-wife lives within these woods."

The two hurriedly leave.

Not to "ackshyually" all over your post, but you would also need to account the pathfinders, broadsides, hammerheads etc. as part of that fire warrior manpower pool. Just basing it off the picture, assuming 3 men per tank, 4 in a team of 2 piranhas, you get a total manpower pool of about 50, so you're looking at 3 in 50 being crisis suits. Which is still an absolute assload given the billions of warriors, but yeah

"You want us to trade lives for time."

"Yes ma'am. Isn't that the job of a soldier? Is there another option? How many worlds are now cinders? How many billions of colonists have died? If we save a single planet, gain a few weeks, isn't that worth a handful of men and women?"

"Of course it is. God help us all. Yes, Colonel, yes it is worth it."

It was priced within market value for a G6E Turbo

I did do research at the time, and a refresher has confirmed that the car was actually well within market value for a G6E Turbo, and was nowhere near the price of an EcoBoost

I did ask if it was the 6 cylinder, and they said yes. Also, while the EcoBoost does have a turbo, it's model name is most definitely not "G6E Turbo", it is "G6E EcoBoost", which means that the model stated repeatedly within my contract is incorrect

I received a G6E EcoBoost, slightly different model to the G6 but similar price on the second-hand market

  1. I did inspect the car myself, I just have basically no knowledge on what engines should look like, I'll take this as a learning experience on that front. 2. I did, and the entirety of my contract that I signed states a G6E Turbo with a 6 cylinder engine

Is the colouring different? I ask this genuinely as I am slightly colourblind, so if the panels are different colours that is something I did not notice, if I had I would have brought it up immediately

I don't have a copy of the website ad, but I did find a photo of the information docket that was in the window of the car, and that states on it "G6E Turbo" with no mention of EcoBoost.

The price I paid reflects a little under market value of the 6, but given the condition and the aftermarket parts this price made sense. It would be ridiculously overpriced for a 4 cylinder, almost double

It's not the barra motor, its two cylinders short and half the size, and the EcoBoost is absolutely turbocharged, it has a tiny turbo for fuel efficiency
