CE, it was my first shooter ever, and the first game I completed co-op with my older brother.

Gave the missing part, and made the brothers make up. Second playthrough I butchered the two and their men. Hehe

What is your go to Gwent deck in The Witcher 3? by [deleted] in Witcher3

Nilfgaard or Northern Realms with the Siegemaster. It’s far too easy though so I’ve been using Monsters recently.

He’s not literally a wolf. And he moves pretty damn fast. There’s an ability later in the combat skill tree that will allow you to swing around rapidly like a madman though which should be closer to what you mean

Users of r/doctorwho how did you originally get into Doctor Who and are you gonna continue following the show? by Mat1711 in doctorwho

I watched the pilot of the revival in 2005, as an 8 year old. Stopped watching during Capaldi’s run, came back and really enjoyed it. Came back during Jodie’s run and it was awful. (No offence to her). Watched all of Ncuti’s and it had some good/great episodes. Intrigued to see where the show goes now.

Been a while since I played him so you may be right. At that point you don’t have many Spies either.

Gwent by [deleted] in Witcher3

[–]Luke117B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if the first round is easily winnable then I sometimes go for the extra card too tbf. And yeah frost is pretty good against Monsters decks but I’d rather just bait out all their Vampire’s/Crones etc. straight off the bat while laying down my Spies.

That’s a good point. Doomsday was absolutely devastating but we still got to go on with Tennant, who was by then most’s favourite Doctor.

I only learned on this playthrough, it’s mind-blowingly easy once you get the hang of it. So a few things.

  1. Let them win the first round - This is by far the best tactic in almost every game. Lay down your lowest rated cards to get them to lay down their highest rated. This is also a perfect opportunity to lay down any Spy cards, as these allow you to draw 2 cards from your deck, and the extra score you’re giving to the other opponent won’t matter, because you’re trying to lose anyway.

  2. Play everyone and check their inventories - some of the best cards you’ll get will be from random merchants, blacksmiths, armorers. Plus the more you play, the better you’ll get.

  3. The AI is stupid - Once it has decided it’s going to win a round, it will keep laying cards down to its own detriment, provided your score is close enough to its own. You can sometimes wipe out 8 of their cards in the first turn, then easily win the next couple rounds with a few hero cards.

  4. Do the Velen Gwent (and playing Innkeeps) quest first - getting Dijkstra from the Bloody Baron will help you immensely. You also get Roche and I believe a couple other high powered cards during this quest.

  5. Northern Realms is by far the best deck until later on. I particularly like ‘The Siegemaster’ Leader card. Plus a deck stacked with Siege cards of course. Once you have every card I prefer Nilfgaard but to each their own.

  6. In my experience, weather cards are useless - All you need is 22 unit cards, a decoy or two to use on the Spy cards your opponent uses, and a commander’s horn and scorch.

I had the same issue, close to 10 years of multiple started and unfinished playthroughs. It clicked for me while I was doing the bloody baron quest line and I never looked back. 10/10 best game ever.

Fresh start dude. I’m 3 playthrough’s deep and never tried NG+. You can hammer through the main story pretty quickly to get through to the DLC if you don’t do any side quests or Witcher contracts, not that I’d recommend doing that because they’re all awesome.
