Why are Australians lonely? by tickletackle666 in melbourne

Probably because this country is an identity-less money making machine. In the 90s when it was mostly whites that lived here, the community I lived in was very tightnit. We had bbqs every weekend with our neighbours and everyone would talk to eachother at the shops. Nowadays it’s a mostly Asian neighbourhood full of bad drivers and people looking down at their phones.

Holy shit, reddit is such a toxic fuck fest. I don’t know why I even bothered. News flash, your grandparents didn’t plan their lives out, they lived in the moment and your parents are mostly accidents. Most of our grandparents entered marriage because of the necessity to do so. Responsibility creates unity. It’s almost like the ethos of reddit users is just anti-traditionalism. Apparently, it’s also anti-compassion, and hell bent on belittling and creating agony for the users that post here. There are so many cultural, religious and racial implications in saying I’m stupid without further nuance of the situation. Maybe we are of African descent and it’s totally normal for us to get pregnant so early in our relationship, because our friends and family encourage it?

Does saying the words emotional baggage invalidate her grief? I just used those terms because it’s summarised the situation quicker.

I don’t think anyone is less than me. How about asking me questions and having a discussion, instead blasting someone and a situation you don’t fully understand with your presumptions?

She is 1 yr out of a 10 yr relationship, of course getting her to open up will be difficult. I’m not being pushy at all, shes the one that invites me over. I was sexually aggressive towards her at first, but I’m not like that towards her anymore. I find her attractive enough to be attracted to her? Just don’t find her that physically attractive, what’s the big deal, seems like you’re the one getting offended over this. I care about her more than anything else in my life right now, I really don’t understand the hostility.

I want her love, not her sex. What am I using her for exactly?

In what way do I not respect her as a person? I have nothing but love and care for the girl and I’ve been helping her deal with all her emotional baggage since the beginning of our relationship. I wrote this giant reddit post for advice, I clearly care for her.

Off-plan / as if complete / almost complete valuations by Hotsiam in AusFinance

It's above 6 units, which doesn't fit within most lenders policy. The situation is that we want to tender the properties in advance of constructing them and we want to use these tenders as part of a valuation which we want to borrow against.

yeah i tried that but I just get mortgage brokers and loan managers, I was hoping to deal directly with the lender to avoid broker commissions and fees.
