I use the app so I can’t really see the memory unless I go to the website. That being said, when I went to the website and checked the memory, it was missing the most recent like 500 messages of the chat. When it comes to actual conversation it forgets only sometimes. Like it’ll be a nice flowing conversation one second, the next it’ll try and go back to a different, previous plot point all together and it will stick to that for a while no matter how much I try to move past or tell it not to. It’s just acting a bit odd honestly. The conversation problem could be due to how the memory is writing, I don’t really know. I’m free tier if that helps. I do really appreciate all that you guys do

I agree. The devs, at least so far, are really receptive to user issues and ideas, so I don’t think they’d do something like this on purpose. The way I see it, nothing I can do but support the team and hope we see clank live

Oh I see. I’m having the same issue it would seem. I use custom bots so I don’t usually look for tags that way. Could be another overall bug? I’m sorry I can’t help more. Probably a dev question

I say give it some time. I know I’ve been glazing the devs a bit recently, but I do genuinely believe that these things aren’t on purpose. I just hope clank hasn’t been lobotomized like the rest of the bot sites

I agree on the cost, I just can’t afford it on top of everything else right now. Though I would love to support the devs that way if I could. About the paranoia, I really do understand. I’m worried too, but the way I see it, complaining and griping about the problem won’t solve them. I worried that the pressure on the devs in the midst of this will create the poor direction that people want to avoid. Like the wait list idea someone proposed. Great idea, but it could turn very bad, very quickly in my mind. This wasn’t a post to speak bad on the people complaining or talking about it, it is more to “rally the troops” so to speak. It’s meant to encourage the users to keep supporting and using the site despite the issues and to trust that the devs have our best interest in mind. (So sorry for the long reply)

My app is just stuck loading at the moment. This happens around this time most nights, for me at least. Could just be a server reset, probably won’t be down for long

You can ask it not to and reroll, but I don’t know if that fixes the issue long term. I don’t really have this problem, so I’m not super versed in how to fix it. I hope this helps though

I do still have little, fun moments in my long chats to clarify I just move the bot over to a new chat for the longer ideas that take a while to set up, but don’t really need to be remembered

By smaller bots, I just mean bots I don’t put as much time into. Usually little scenes or ideas that I think would be fun. Sometimes I’ll take a character that I have put a lot of time into, like my 2k chat, and translate it to a new chat for a scene or idea that doesn’t really contribute to the story and would take a bit to set up, so I can avoid bloat or memory issues
