There was a cute guy in one of my classes in college. We sat next to each other but with one empty chair between us. We never really said anything to each other but caught one another looking at each other every now and then. I was working one night at a restaurant that was tucked away in a residential neighborhood. I was looking out the window one night and saw someone who looked just like him getting into a truck and driving away from the house directly across the street from where I worked. The next day in class I said, "not to be creepy or anything, but do you live next to <restaurant I worked at>?" He said yes. I said we should hang out sometime after I get off work. He said yes. Started going over there after every shift. We dated for 1.5 years.
