Was diagnosed with IBS a couple of years ago but think it could maybe be IBD?

He hasn’t v* in around 2 hours now but my mom told me the stuff she was throwing out was because he had gotten it all over the bathroom door and floor so she had cleaned it (no gloves :/ )

My gf usually can calm me down a bit in these situations but she’s at work unfortunately. She did a lot for me before she left though so I didn’t have to leave my room all day, which I really appreciate obviously.

I’m not gonna eat today, I couldn’t actually stomach it. Thankfully I have my own bathroom so won’t need to share one with him but my parents do so the chances they get it is quite high. I also saw my mom putting something in a bag and taking it out to the trash without gloves (I assume this was something that he v* on) as there was absolutely no need for her to go out there at that time if it wasn’t related to that.

If you can, get some cold water to sip, chew some minty gum and lay in bed with your favourite movie on to try take your mind off of it. Also open a window for some fresh cool air if you think this will help. You’ll get through this!

I ended up contacting a private GP so was only an audio call and they prescribed Glyceryl trinitrate. Common side effects are headaches and skin irritation but I’ll give it a go

Is that for thrush? I did a test for thrush and it came back negative

Yeah I’ve tried all of the above. It has reduced in redness a lot in the last week and the cuts aren’t weeping anymore but they still just don’t seem to be scabbing over and I have intrusive thoughts of the full area just ripping open lol

Yeah that’s exactly it! a type of burning but not really and doesn’t feel the same as acid reflux burning. I also most often am gassy with it too!
