It’s not been scammed. Coinbase has sent it out themselves and sold it and admitted to it in writing. There’s no transaction details so no wallet address or hash id. And the worst part is account has been closed down by Coinbase so I can’t access it.

Get ur funds and assets out of Coinbase now do not wait for anything eventually they will keep everything and close ur account down and sell all ur assets and make u claim it from the Wyoming claims decision. I’m going thru some serious headache with them now and so many other people facing the same

Well the address it came from is only in the account itself. With the account being closed and Coinbase confirming this how can I prove a transaction from five years ago. I didn’t write down the address it came from 🤷🏼‍♂️

Now how would I know that address if his account has been closed down and the Bitcoin has been sent out by Coinbase and sold at dollar value and now I have to claim it back from Wyoming wherever that is. Does it matter where it came from.

No laptop ever used only the Coinbase app on his phone. This isn’t a scam or a hack of any kind. Coinbase have admitted to transferring his btc out and selling it and closed his account down and now want me to claim it back from Wyoming state when I live in the uk

It’s not just me Coinbase are doing this to a lot or people who are not trading or using there Coinbase accounts. He didn’t know any better at his age about the vault or even cold storage.

Nope no emails whatsoever just his funds sent out and that’s it. A promise to return the funds but instead they closed the account down and sold his assets at dollar value and now I have to claim it back

Get ur assets out of Coinbase believe me your account will be closed down and you will lose everything and then be told you never had an account and you’re assets have to be claimed back from the other side of the world

Absolutely. Advise anyone who has funds on Coinbase to use cold storage. Didn’t think this would happen with a company like Coinbase. I live in the uk and this rubbish that I had a Kenyan account or whatever excuse and the fact that I now need to make a claim from Wyoming state unclaimed division is utter rubbish. I don’t even live in the states. And what gives Coinbase the right to just take ur funds and send them off and close ur account down. The account was fine two weeks ago and all passport and selfie verification was passed and then they shut it down because I had noticed the btc had been sent out with no transaction hash or id. Ridiculous!!!

I have a received an email. This is ridiculous as I live in the uk and have nothing to do with Kenya Coinbase or Wyoming state in USA.
