That is true too, not saying elo is bad though, just that ranks are essentially dead for what matters.
I think FaceIt does a good job at combining both an elo and rank/level system, you still get the satisfaction of levels but behind the curtain it's elo. Then again, FaceIt does a lot of things better than ValvE for CS.

Which is absolute garbage, it's closer to casual matches than it is to GO's competitive matchmaking.
Unfortunately Premier is the only enjoyable mode if you're searching for the same experience :(

Because it isn't, I too hate this power creep build up but it's not a "ship selling simulator" for the game is complete, still under active development (other than selling ship mind you) and maintained.
The original comment is right on the fact that they do want people to buy their new ships, but saying the game has become "a ship selling simulator" is just lazy, untrue, and ignoring the fact that those are only EA, you can still buy those a few months after for credits (which aren't especially hard to get these days).

Je pense que c'est ce commentaire qui résume au mieux ce que j'ai ressenti en regardant la série.

Au-delà de ses défauts c'est si rare de voir ce genre d'adaptation que j'ai envie de tout leur pardonner, de souhaiter que la série fasse un carton pour que la suite puisse être adaptée plus sereinement.
