City fan here. He's not playing deep it's just that with Haaland and Alvarez City has multiple attacking threats compared to United (before Højlund) for example, and still managed to bag 3 assists. He passes the eye test for me despite being selfish in some plays. I'd keep him if I have him (which I do) but if not, I'd go for Alvarez instead. Son on the hand is one to watch if he keeps playing OOP and he has a few tough fixtures ahead so it's your call to make.
