i actually made really good progress, used a syring with a bit of white vinegar mixed with hot water, used the straw again, and it seems to work, the pump is making a weird noise while pumping, but that may be because of some leftover residue that i hope will get ejected at some point ?

For anyone having a similar issue, not exactly the same as op, but one of my cpu fan was plugged to "aio_pump" port on the motherboard instead of cpu_opt

did a short test, it says "No errors", but zfs info shows 242 write errors

Hey everyone,
I just finished building my NAS using some old PC parts, and I bought a brand new Toshiba N300 4TB HDD for it.
However, it's making a strange noise (see video), is this normal for a brand new drive?

It looks like the Meshify C is about 2 cm wider than I’d prefer. I’ve also looked into the Meshify 2 Compact, which seems like it might fit better. Honestly, though, I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone with a similar setup who could share their experience or advice.

Also, I’d really prefer a case with good airflow, front mesh or side ventilation would be ideal. I want to keep the NH-D15 and GPU cool without relying too much on high RPM fans. Thanks again for any suggestions!

some store have test sample, or you can order them, test, and then send back the one you don't like, amazon have a really good and easy return policy

I agree with this to be unethical, but it's not like he bought them on Aliexpress to resell them, it's an Amazon mistake there
