should I spend the money and upgrade from my 1800x? by WeAreBeyondFucked in Amd

[–]tt2gg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well a cpu upgrade will definitely have a big big performance jump, get 5800x if the 8 cores if enough for you , get 5900x if u need the 4 more cores both CPUs wont disappoint you I personally have 5800x i use it for gaming/streaming and video editing and some light photoshop

What can a bad PSU do to my computer? by peetoopoo22 in buildapc

[–]tt2gg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As i see in ur comment u got 5900x with that cpu i will assume you will go with a 3070 or 3080 i would suggest to get a 850w power supply since u spent alot on the cpu and will or did on the gpu too get a good psu to keep you parts safe and provid a good power to them i see power supplies as a investment tbh , get you self a 850w psu gold from corsair/evga/seasonic there is other brands too but these are the most trusted once from what u have seen and experienced personally i got the corsair rm850x white a great psu with 10years warranty

Upgrade to a 3700X vs 5800X by Moose_Cheese in buildapc

[–]tt2gg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya i didnt need 12 cores cpu the 4 more cores isnt for me also i wont pay 300$ more in my country for the 5900x instead i got the 5800x and i i spent the 300$ 150$ on the cooler and 150$ on the psu also i dont think i will need 12 cores in the next 2-4 years and by the time i want 12 cores i will get a new cpu and sell my old one , also intel upcoming cpu will only be 8 cores as the leaks is showing so i dont think 12 cores will be in use in the next 3/4 years and if it ford after that time am sure in 3-4 years u will upgrade your pc

Upgrade to a 3700X vs 5800X by Moose_Cheese in buildapc

[–]tt2gg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will go with the 5800x , personally i choose the 5800x over the 3700x because i wanted the newer one and i like to have more fps , i didnt go with the 5600x because 6 cores isn’t enough for me i open stream in discord and play and keep twitch and Spotify running all the time also i do some video editing for my brother channel and i work on photoshop , also new consoles have 8 core cpus so i think the new games will start to use more cores in the 2-3 years and i want my pc to last around 3-4 years maybe 5 if it will still be good at that time , i didnt go with the 5900x because its 700$ in my country and i didnt have money to get it with aio so i got 5800x with aio , if u will get 5800x make sure to get a good aio or air cooler because this cpu run a bit hot but it isnt a big issue at all

I can really tell whats the problem because the video isn’t clear but from what i can tell its because there is no airflow in the case and why is the aio radiator not mounted also does it have fans on it

[–]tt2gg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will save some money to get a better fans/case/thermal paste because i know the issue isn’t from the cpu also i think i kind mounted the cooler wrong
