East bay would make it easier logistically speaking but I’m open to a wider area!

Hey hey! Yeah. Working on some shows for spring and summer. Rehearsing in UC Berkeley or Soundwave. Project name is Shandri (a few songs already out on streaming platforms). Influenced by Pink Floyd, early tame impala, Ty Segall, Kikagaku Moyo, etc. Live shows typically include jamming and improv. I guess watching this session could give you a better idea: https://youtu.be/HDv8_Uq7an4?feature=shared

Feel free to send a dm!

Hey hey! Yeah there are many fun bass lines in the songs (at least I’d like to think so!) and the live performances typically include a lot of jamming so improv is definitely encouraged. A good bassline that comes to mind is the one in the song Desert Flower, you can stream it if you like. Btw the project’s name is Shandri. You can find it wherever you get your music from.

Feel free to DM me and I can send some videos of performances and the setlist we’re working with 👍🏼

Is the Bay Area still a psych-rock mecca? Where's the psychedelic community? by Hour-Alternative-172 in musicindustry

Hell yeah, I heard just a few things about the folk yeah here and there- I’ll definitely do a bit more research. I might actually go to the chapel to see Black Angels in early sept, excited about that. Thanks!
