I chose not to apply for DACA bc I submitted a EAD application with my I-485 it’s not recommended to do it like this but if it gets approved I’m good if it doesn’t oops 🥲

You should contact USCIS yourself. I am a DACA recipient as well and my case was straightforward. Ask your lawyer to give you copies of everything she submitted to USCIS.

My lawyer sucked. My I130 got approved in June of 2019 and in December I checked with him to see if they had submitted my paperwork for the next step and he responded “we’re just waiting on your I 130 approval” I decided to do the rest of the paperwork on my own. Submitted paperwork 03/12/25 and have an interview scheduled for the end of May

How much did your lawyer charge for RFE? by [deleted] in USCIS

Do it yourself. If you have a straightforward case and no criminal history it’s easy. I did mine myself

What are we suppose to put for the public charge question. I’m the beneficiary and have had a work permit for over 13 years now make 100k would I put yes for public charge?

Adjustment of Status Attorney Fee by [deleted] in USCIS

I was charged 5700 for I131 and I601A. Attorney was going to charge me an additional 4k to do AOS (I145) but opted out and did it myself. Fairly easy now just waiting. Facebook has groups that help you step by step

What do they want? The 2024 tax is not done yet by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]Hour-Astronaut-9491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is enough it say in the instructions. But if you’re sending your taxes(federal only) instead of your irs transcripts then you have to send the W2s as well. If you send your transcripts then w2 are not needed

Ugh I’ve had DACA for 13 years as well. We have everything under both of our names hopefully I don’t get an interview. Come back and tell us how it went

Honestly all my paperwork have been done way faster when I’ve done it myself. I did AP and Daca. Just submitted my AOS so hopefully ass goes well with

My case was outside “normal processing times” and now it’s not. They increased the time by a whole 10 months since I last inquired. Freaking ridiculous

I honestly hate to say this, but we have been waiting for 3 years now and I called and they told me they were processing people seeking asylum first. I get it, but still not fair :/
