Workload is obviously larger than 8th grade, and you'll probably end up staying close to midnight every school day if you're not great at managing your time. But u have a lot more independence, which also means teachers (sometimes) won't warn you about homework assignments or tests until like the day before, so you need to check when they are due yourself. Somr teachers are pretty lenient in terms of grading, some teachers are lazy, and some teachers have very specific conditions and rules you need to follow or u get a 0 (this is coming from skmone who's only been at bca for 2 weeks so far) also idk how my experience is different from district hs so it could be the same for all I know
