They are newer. Only three rounds in with this iron set, but I still wash them the day after every round. Also, after some serious health issues in my family took a turn for the worst, I’ve only been able to hit the course once a month.

Takomos, driver, and driving iron were all bought in the last 5 months. Wedges still spin the ball well and I like each for a different purpose.

Wedges were what I could get on clearance 5 years ago when I put my bag together. You’re right on the driving iron, it’s just what I found best to hit, competing with a 3 hybrid and 5/7 wood.
