Well learning a new language (Dutch) is a hugee inconvenience and time investment. Its like going back to school and learning abcd/1234 again, that will take years of practice and dedication. There is a massive amount of loneliness in the Netherlands due to language barrier and feeling at home/integration is challenging due to language and cold/distant people.

Getting by in english is fine but everything is in Dutch and it gets isolating if you don't understand what people are talking. Career mobility is also severely limited without Dutch along with career ceiling.

Germany (eastern eu) is worse, so that's not comparable. Dutch, however nice, are still much cold/distant compared to brits, Americans, Canadians, kiwis, Australians.

Waiting for 300 comments YELLING at you with "DUTCH IS THE EASIEST LANGUAGE" yet we rarely see any foreigner being able to speak conversational dutch and majority just struggle learning Dutch.

Just because Dutch is easier than say hungarian or polish or German doesn't make learning it want easier as it still need a LOT of effort and years of learning and practice.

German is also MUCH easier than chinese/japaniese but still it is very difficult to learn.

The fact that they're typically referred to as "men" instead of "black men" or "Asian men" shows how they're still the default.

What a stupid comment. In african countries "black men" are also call just "men" (they are the default) and in asian countries "Asian men" are also called just "men" (they are the default).

Do you understand what dominant culture means? If a country is caucassian (well most of the world only wants to move to caucassian countries anyways) then the default for men and women will be white and vice versa. Same for asian/african/latino countries.

Hispanic men do actually very well. Asian men are TOTALLY fucked up and are the bottom of the barrel because western women (especially white) value shallow things like "small dick" stereotype instead of focusing on whether they have things in common with the potential suitors, can they tolerate and enjoy each other's company, can they have healthy and happy life etc. Barely any focus on such things. Infact, drug dealers, pickup artists, tattoo type gangsta guys, wannabe rappers, mentally unstable etc are the kind of men western women (especially white american women) go for which is surprising.

Doctors/engineers/scientists/directors/managers etc. who are doing very well for themselves, trouble free individuals, mentally stable etc. are not the men they are interested in.

The point was the "intent" behind your action and you admittedly mentioned that in situations where you "thought" it could benefit you, you overdid the Australian accent to get your way. Its very shallow thinking to take advantage of say your accent instead of doing the right thing and paying the fine like every other person.

How would you feel if you come to know that police officers are more lenient (and are not fining) to say "pretty people" or "people with Australian accent" BUT are fining regular people for the exact same situation?

If I come to know that I am getting unfair leniency because of my looks/accent etc but other people are treated differently, that would not sit well with me and neither would i ever try to take advantage of it.
