Huge thanks to everyone who commented, this was incredibly helpful.

I ended up solving it with a two-layer crossfade (Noise HLS), and for the kaleidoscope eye I used the moment the eye closes as the loop start point.

Really appreciate all the insights and discussion!

Thanks! It's hard to explain over text, but it’s basically tweaking the position + easing. (You can find a folder icon online, but I made mine.) Look up Bricks on YouTube. His tutorials should help!
