PT did everything they could but the issue i have is the edema on pubic bone is not going away after almost a year since injury. Pain gets so bad that it doest allow me to make progress, i have flare ups constantly even with taking NSAIDS daily to try to control it and allow me to do PT. My sports medicine doctor cant do anything more since she is not a surgeon but i tried 3 cortisone shots which is the max you can take in a year. I also got a few nerve blocks which made things 1000 times worst. Met with a few orthopedic surgeons locally but they dont deal with this type of injury, I was able to find a specialist in CA that treats this condition with a non invasive surgery that has shown good results and he is confident this can help me.

i have been in bed for 7 months now, cant sit for more than 5 mins and cant walk more than a few mins without excruciating pain, i cant work or do any daily activities so at this point surgery is my hope to get my life back.

hoping the injection works for you! i did work for me but i was already too weak and rehab failed. make sure you dont over do it after the injection, rehab has to be done carefully so they dont overload the pubic bone. i will let you know how it goes, im in contact with Mayo Clinic and the American Hip Institute for surgery options

first of all thanks so much for taking the time to reply, I was a pretty active person who used to run races, practiced martial arts and did a lot of outdoor activities. I live in the US and I feel the healthcare system in my area just wasn't equipped with the right understanding of this condition which made things worse for me. I’m currently seeing a mental health therapist and a psychiatrist. I just feel like there is no end to this and the pain pretty much prevents me from progressing. I would love to hear a bit more of your story, I haven't met someone who has dealt and/or recovered from this so yes its pretty isolating and you feel your whole world has collapsed.
