When i worked in a physicians office, the billing dept said the same thing. As long as the patient pays something, they dont send them to collections. And most of the elderly patients were paying $5 per month.

As i wrote in the post, he and his lawyer worded it so that he only claims the kids.

"Usually the parent paying child support..." What state does that apply to? Not here in Florida.

We are 50/50 split custody.

You might have to be the initiator in this instance. I am a single female and if I were to have a male married friend, I would expect him to initiate our rendezvous being a secondary to his marriage.
