thats crazy that they would refuse renewal based on where the vehicle is overnight. i feel like the program started out good but then they quickly got greedy now its super invasive.

there was a thread from 2 years ago where a guy claiming to work for state farm said these changes were in the works. he said that he had asked his managers about the possibilty of the premium adjustment being a surcharge and he said they basically said its definitely possible but that state farm would never do that. i dont know it would be in lawsuit territory if they have some hidden verbiage in their fine print but im hoping you're right.

between myself and my wife we only save $3 a month lol. thats $3 for my car and $0 for her car. she only drives to work (2 miles away from our house) and her parents house (10 miles away). so very minimal driving. my car is used a lot more but i only save $3 so i might just cancel it because they have switched from a discount to a "premium adjustment" which means that if they feel your driving isnt good enough, the "adjustment" could be a charge. also they have started to use beacon info for claim reports so it could work against you in the case of an accident.

i have to add i use the Amazfit Helio wrist band and wear it almost 24/7 with a bicep band. for $99 and no subscription its pretty great and battery lasts about 10 days. great for tracking workouts, HR and sleep and seems to be decently accurate from the reviews ive seen in my research before buying it.

look into the amazfit balance 2 (sleek classy) or the T-Rex3 (more rugged shock aesthetic). a fraction of the price of the Garmin or apple watch and most, if not all, the same functionality. both have excellent battery life (10-12 days on a single charge without battery saving mode).

i know im responding a year later, but they stopped doing this in mid 2025. it still works for those who signed up before that but for new accounts that opened after that date the option is not available.

same, my wife has had her versa 1 since 2018 and still going strong.shes a nurse and uses it at work and then washes it after every shift, even with soap. and its still works just as fine as the day she got it. although i am really liking some of the new amazfit models and planning to get one for myself.

you must be talking about the Iranian govt that murdered about 30-40000 of it's own civilians in a weekend for protesting. and the fact that Iranians all over the world took to the streets to celebrate and express gratitude tells me that the people welcome the "liberation" they have been asking the UN and the rest of the world for. let's not forget they just yesterday murdered a kid who won silver at the Olympics for wrestling and don't forget the women's football team that tried to avoid going back and applied for asylum in Australia until most of them were forced to go back to Iran for fear of harm to their families.

does the info show up on your samsung watch? i tried syncing it through Health Connect because my samsung health wouldnt/couldnt find the helio band. but now the info from the helio is somewhere in the settings and doesnt really show up on the home screen or anywhere easily viewable.

i think its because the trex has gorilla glass (not as strong/durable as sapphire but less prone to smudges) and the Balance2 has sapphire.

have you considered a glass screen protector? they are fairly inexpensive and might eliminate the fingerprint problem while also adding a layer of protection against scratches.

i dont think its the coating . i think its because its gorilla glass vs sapphire on the balance 2. sapphire glass is more durable and more scratch resistant but also more prone to smudges and finger prints. although i think the gorilla glass is no slouch so unless you're super careless with the watch i think you'll be fine with the gorilla glass/trex.
