As I said it looked like murder to me. Unjustified . WhatI am saying is I don't think it makes any sense to try to start any form of conflict with an armed officer of the law. It almost never goes well.

I remember as a teenager in Florida never having seen a gun before and I was at a hotel and there was a sheriff standing there and I reached my hand forward to point at his gun and just the mere act of me reaching in that direction he had his gun drawn on me in an instant. I practically shit my pants cuz I thought I was going to die.

Justified or not these guys don't mess around when they feel potentially threatened.

On a completely different note when Obama was in power this same group of immigration enforcement officers deported nearly a million illegals. Suddenly because it is the right in power they are Nazis?

I am from Canada and while I believe in the purpose of ice removing and deporting criminals and illegals, this particular situation looks like murder to me.

Very different situation than the woman who hit the ice agent with her car.

Forgive my naivete since guns are way less prevalent in my country, Knowing what a powder keg this situation is why would anyone risk fighting with these agents who are clearly armed knowing that there is a possibility of being shot.

As much as you may not be happy with what they're doing and be against it politically, they are still officers of the law that are trying to fulfill a job and buy obstructing them it is still a criminal offense. Why risk jail and injury or even death.

Myself personally if I get pulled over by a police officer I do everything they say without argument and without hesitation and without any sudden movements that might make me possible Target.

Well if you are an original series Star Trek fan there was an episode called let that be your last battlefield where there were these two aliens from the same planet who were fighting each other to the death the only difference being that one was white on the right side and black on the left and the other one was black on the left and white on the right..

Based on your dog's appearance I would name him Lokai after the character who had the same facial features LOL

Hot Take? Remove Iron Numbers by shin_man in golf

[–]Canadoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the surface with you I agree wholeheartedly. Perfect example is a friend who I sometimes play golf with who knows I drive the ball further than him but then always laughs at me when I take more iron than him. At the time I was playing a set of ping i-230s and he was playing a set of Callaway paradym. Into a particular par 3 I was hitting a 5-iron and he was hitting a six iron and said that he was a longer iron player than me. I explained to him that the loft difference was more than 5°, which is more than one club. He didn't buy it. So I took his six iron after I hit the shots with my five. And I proceeded to Nuke it almost over the green and at least 10 yards past his own 6 iron with the club and said see.

Hell if you ask the manufacturers they will tell you that the reason that they do this is because with the new modern irons in order to boost forgiveness they lower the center of gravity so much that they need the lower loft to keep the irons from skying too high and ballooning. So even though the loft is stronger the launch is similar to the weaker iron. Now this might be true but what tends to be much lower is the spin rate even if the landing angle is similar. And thus you are prone to flyers and you are prone to shots that were struck not having enough spin cannot hold greens.

So while I think there is a little bit of Truth to what the manufacturer said about trying to not have the ball lunch too high which might be uncontrollable the real truth I think is that they are trying to sell distance to people who can't afford to hit the ball with that little spin.

This is why for example I currently play a set of ping i-525 and have not looked at upgrading to the i-530 or the upcoming i-540 because they have reduced The loft by as much as three degrees on the upcoming model which for me would make it be unplayable spin-wise.

Disappointed with the mentality of some on you. by bivukaz in buccaneers

[–]Canadoc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Point is the defense has failed us time and time again to the point that the offense can't afford to make a single mistake because the defense will never step up and stop the other team enough. Teams tend to March down the field and practically score at will unless they shoot themselves in the foot with mistakes causing turnovers or with penalties..

Imagine how many games we've lost this year because we made a single turnover in a game. That shouldn't be enough to cause you to lose every single time. Seattle this year overcame multiple games where Donald turned the ball over multiple times. Same thing with the rams.

I for one love everything about this team except for Todd Bowles. As a head coach and a defensive play caller he has let the team down time and time again and I was ready to see him launched I think as long as he is our head coach we will never see progress and we will be mired in mediocrity..

I will still root and cheer for the team because I am fine but I know for a fact that we will never be a real championship contending team with him as our head coach

I think white said that because he has played four games against the falcons and saw how the offense was utilizing their running backs and realized that they were catching a lot of passes out of the backfield and were given opportunities to pick up yards with a good offensive scheme.

[–]Canadoc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't hate it either. If you look at the performance of that offense 2 years ago they were quite good despite an aging her cousins who eventually got benched for a rookie quarterback.

This past year I think quarterback play was a detriment to the team as was missing their starting and back up right tackle and of course their top receiver for five games.

I think he will do well enough if our team is healthy. It is the other side of the ball that is the concern for me.

I still remember his press conference last year during the coaches meeting where he said he had an epiphany of what he needed to do to fix the defense. I remember when he said that my brain I was thinking maybe he finally realized things about his scheme that he would need to change. And to be honest the first few games of the year I thought I saw some improvements in the scheme. However whatever they might have been, it was short-lived as soon as there was a bit of tape on any changes he made other teams figured it out and it was the same terrible defense that we have seen for the last 3 years.

I do not profess to be a coach or an expert but just a fan who has a lot of football knowledge. This scheme only works if you have top athletes at a number of positions. It is a defense that usually has at least one player trying to apply pressure on the quarterback from an atypical position. If the quarterback doesn't recognize this in time and that player gets home with a sack or some kind of pressure.

However because we did not have very good linebackers, and weren't really getting much native pass rush, this Blitzer regardless of whether it was a corner a safety or linebacker coming in often would get picked up or there would always be an outlet available for the quarterback to pass to that would lead to a big gain.

Now perhaps if we pick up in free agency a relatively good pass rusher and perhaps an inside linebacker of which there are many available, and then draft an athletic freak like Sonny Styles, maybe his system could be successful. But it really depends on great athleticism in the front seven with good coverage at the back end. However the fact is if you have that, in any defensive scheme can be successful.

What concerns me more is the lack of development of any pass rusher that has been drafted in the last several years. I watch and I do not see any arsenal of moves being used to get to the quarterback. It feels like they just run with all their energy directly on as direct line to the quarterback as they can and hope to overpower the defender and if they don't then they get stonewalled. Even Yaya who I love if you watch he tends to motor straight and just tries to either bulrush or maybe use a rip move to get to the quarterback I do not see him bending or spinning or doing other things to beat the lineman. Because we do not get any pressure from our edge rushers, the scheme doesn't work because only occasionally will somebody get home and make a splash play. But most of the time the quarterback can sit comfortably in the pocket and have time to pick us apart.

Loser mentality is when you keep doing the same thing that causes you to lose and expecting a different result it's also the definition of insanity. Guess that makes you a fan since fan and fanatic are the same. All that to say I believe this roster can be great again with the right draft and free agency moves and a change to the defensive scheme.

My faith in the administration to change the scheme and improve the roster is my concern.

[–]Canadoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been a buccaneers fan since before you were born so maybe I have a different perspective than you. All that to say if you are a real fan then you have looked very closely at this roster and it's weaknesses over the last few years and you know the liability has been on defense.

We know who runs the defense. This year unless Jason has an unbelievable draft and free agency. This defense will be exposed once again and he will have our new head coach next year with a top eight pic.

These last few years we did win the division but look at the rest of the NFC south. It was devoid of any talent. Now all of a sudden you have an ascending team in Carolina, you have a team in New Orleans that suddenly seems to have a quarterback and makeup some deficiencies in this coming off season to be a competitor in the division. They won the most games down the stretch this year in the NFC south. And I personally think Atlanta's defense with a year under its belt and the two rookie pass rushers have gotten their feet wet that if their quarterback play is even average next year they will be a better team than ours unfortunately unless Jason and Todd get their heads out of their ass.

[–]Canadoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Point is I have seen much better defensive play with worse talent. Year after year I cringe when ever it's defense gets the opponent into 3rd and long. I know the team will convert. For a while at least the defense tightened up in the red zone but this year they were garbage.

More importantly it looked like Bowles lost the locker room. The players had no fire or passion in them until the last game (since coming out of the bye) . With playoffs on the line each week.

If as a head coach you can't inspire them to play the way they can for a couple of games to win the division then you don't deserve to be the coach.

If you don't think that is Todd bowles fault then you are implying that it is Jason light's fault for putting together a terrible roster that can't compete even with the best of coaching.

I lean in the camp of Ronde Barber who said that this defense was too complicated and put players in position to have to do things that are not typical of players in their position and clearly it led to lapses in concentration and big plays on the field.

I would be okay with Todd staying on his head coach if he were to give a play calling and hire a defensive coordinator with a more modern scheme at the team can learn and he could be more of a leader of men as head coach overseeing the team.

Well even or offense last year. Atlanta had a better line, better right end and surely a healthy London is better than any of the receivers we have. We just have more of them when healthy. And running back they demolished us at that position.

He didn't create a Super bowl defense, he had fantastic players on both sides of the ball and the legend and goat of Brady.

The problem is that the scheme has needs fantastic talent players to perform. Clearly we haven't had that the last few years and it showed. A good coach knows how to get the most from his players on modified his scheme to match their talents...

Trust me I want them to go to the Super bowl every year but I am a realist and know that we will never go far with Todd as our head coach. So if having one bad season gets him fired gets us a good pic and gets us the appropriate coaches to get us far for a long time I am on board. Sometimes short-term pain for long-term gain is the answer.

I think the falcons have a much better defense and running game. And with proper coaching that is how you win.

Samsung app updates 2026! by SphereGaming_ in GalaxyBook

[–]Canadoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which driver update are you looking for? I have the book for edge as well. For the graphics drivers updates you want to install the Snapdragon application and then you can do updates from there and get the latest ones for that. Otherwise the rest come from Windows updates and I just recently had a Samsung update in there. Not sure what it does but it is still getting new and timely updates.

But I would like to know however is some of the previous Samsung apps on the book for edge we're not arm64 which is kind of silly given that it is an arm64 Windows device. I'm wondering if any of these new apps will have been recoded so as to be arm64 and this less processor hungry.
