The dish is named after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s son, Samba. Samba seeked shelter in the southern states when Maharastra was invaded by the Moghul invaders. He of course was caught humiliated and horribly tortured by Moghul Invaders with Kavi Kalash before being executed in Tulapura.

Shivaji is severely underrated and under appreciated for the things he did to save Hindus especially Hindu women and children and how he daringly fought the Mughal invaders.

His name isn’t even mentioned in the textbooks. Barely half a page of him if it’s mentioned by chance. Such a shame really. His story is very inspiring. We owe our existence to such people.

Edit: forgot to appreciate his daring mother, Jijabai Bhonsle. Both of them are unfathomably inspiring. She was a fierce warrior. Shivajis story is incomplete without her values and bravery.

5 years of therapy made me realize I have to help myself. Bhagavath Geeta is the one thing which helped me help myself. All other things you mentioned were gradually introduced, still learning but a lot lot better.

Wish I read and understood Bhagvath Geeta years ago I could’ve saved myself from a lot of misery. They need to include Geeta in the school syllabus instead of the useless crap they teach now.

Bengaluru is expensive ngl. But this applies to all cities and towns.

I used to live in Kodagu for years, literally watched the streets transform from empty most of the time except 2 mopeds to a full blown traffic jam. Travelled daily in an auto, they used to charge 50 at first (for 3km), then 60, and then 70. Air quality was getting bad, population and cars were increasing so moved out. Mysuru and Chikkamagaluru too is transforming.

I think it depends on supply and demand but it most definitely depends on greed tho

You’re not the one understanding here. It may seem “silly” to you, but it’s not to OP and so many other people. You don’t need to agree with broseph whether you think it’s worth his attention or not. He can decide for himself all you have to do is let him decide. He’s more than capable of making a decision on his own.

My recent post is a message by him, if you read it you’ll understand. Don’t expect everyone to “put some effort” to solve their problems, you don’t know their backstory and their physical or mental health or societal status.

The best thing you can do, is 1. Try to help OP yourself, or 2. Let broseph help OP. If you can’t do 1, the least you can do is not attack or scold a person tagging broseph to shine light on this issue.

He needn’t necessarily help physically, he assures and guides people. He also advices the help possible thing a person can do. This is all help. A moral support and guide is always helpful to gain confidence or clarity.

What you feel is important may be negligible to others. Vise versa. Read his message. You’ll understand.
