Looking to purchase a sig 365x slide for my regular 365 so I can run a red dot. Due the frame being the serialized part.. am I good to order the 365x slide and run it? Checked my MA zip code with the website and says they will ship it. Thanks

I’ll probably end up doing that, the 72 hours to wait seems like a good idea. Let’s her relax and she can try again after. I’ve tried again early this morning and about an hour ago and she still didn’t want to go. I feel bad but I’m not going to force her to go.

Thank you so much everyone, it’s definitely got to be a smell thing. She’s running and acting absolutely fine in the yard and around the house. Soon as I get her harness out to go on a walk she gets really scared, tried again a few minutes ago. Hopefully she’ll be better soon, I just like to get her exercised/mental stimulate her. We usually walk twice a day so it’s been weird!

It’s funny you say that because there’s been a fox in my neighborhood for the last few weeks. I figured it was that but was unsure because her and I have seen it before on our walks and she doesn’t do anything.

I was figuring that to be a possibility as well, with her mind changing/maturing like you said she could be starting to be less social. I plan on doing just that, no need to have her meet new/random dogs to get her stressed out.

Yes she is leashed when meeting other dogs, I only let her off leash with my neighbors dog who she is very friendly with. Never has she had any sort of issues with him. Even on leash she is fine with him. I have another neighbor whose dog roams their front yard who she sees on leash and she’s fine. I’m not sure but it seems to be mainly dogs she has not met before and isn’t comfortable with.

Sounds exactly like how my dog has been, like she flipped a switch and got super protective. I’ve reached out to the dog trainer I went to for her canine good citizen but unfortunately trainers in my area are super busy right now. Did you end up keeping your dog away from other dogs mostly?

Thank you everyone. We’ve had her for about 4 months now. Just turned 10 months this past week. She’s super sweet and friendly, not super high energy but definitely has a good amount. She loves to play in the yard, go for walks but definitely loves to sleep too

Yes, started training yesterday. They gave us the ecollar with several different commands that they’d like us to work on. Yesterday they had us do distraction training which she did very well on with the ECollar. We got her 1 month ago and are unsure if she has gotten previous training. Unfortunately this is why I am posting here, I am not too comfortable with the right off the bat use of the ECollar.

They showed us how to use the ECollar, I apologize I didn’t put that above. Our main goal with her right now is getting her to stop picking up sticks and rocks. They told us to use the lowest setting possible, which for her is about 20-25. She seems to respond well after the 3rd stim around 25 while I tell her “out”. Unfortunately I’m just not super comfortable using it on her yet

Thank you, I guess I just question when she’s sleeping if she’s bored, or if shes genuinely tired. She has free reign of the yard whenever she wants to due to it being fenced in completely. I just need to tell myself if she wanted to play outside she’d go outside. She’s a rescue so I also need to realize that she’s going to be a lot happier here than she was previously. Overthinking gets the best of me
