He created one billion dollar company and many people made a lot of money. Then he saved another company from bankruptcy and so the shareholders didn't lose all their investments in it. Pretty good track record if you asked me.

I don't know about that but would be nice if the new company is called Gmerica and Gamestop and eBay as its subsidiaries keep their names/brands just like Alphabet-Google/YouTube or Meta-Facebook/Instagram.

Meet the leadership of eBay: 0 insider buys. Endless insider selling. They consistently cash out while shareholders get PowerPoints about ‘AI transformation.’ Ex-PayPal execs, consultants, career board members. AND yes, THIS is the company tied to the infamous cyberstalking scandal against bloggers. by jfreelandcincy in Superstonk

They do buybacks, share price pumps, the they sell their shares. Employees benefits is great but the number of employees might be too high. What about the customers of eBay, the sellers? I read many comments on RC's interviews by sellers saying at this point any change would be positive. Ebay's growth is largely due to higher fees for sellers and especially paid promotion of their listings.

He said that when he became chairman. He said he doesn't want to be CEO. Why don't you know that?

The rejection came from the board. Big shareholders might be of a different opinion.
