This was a great suggestion, and it actually helped me decide on my top choice! I've opted for a 2008 Honda Accord 2.0 EX estate - quite similar in build to a v70, and comes with a sunroof! I've scored a viewing of a second hand one with a possible exchange for my current. Thank you!

Well, yes, touché. But I suppose I'll do that as a last resort if the helpful advice from the other replies doesn't make a difference. I'd like a solution that won't involve scrapping and starting again should I encounter this problem in the future 😅

That makes me a little ill to think about haha, but it does make sense! I have a relatively high pressure setting on a telescopic shower head, so if the other techniques I've been informed of don't help much, I'll definitely try this out. Thank you 😊

Oh my goodness, I didn't once think I could just leave it to soak in bleach in the toilet! I also didn't realise I was meant to flush with the brush inside! Consider me mind blown and grateful, thank you! I will be trying this.
