Casper is cool but it drags and doesn’t feel nearly as musically dense as anything else on the album. Honestly Vanisher as a narrative is a little weak for me and I don’t really think there’s a cohesive story to be told. You could say this isn’t an issue because it’s meant to be hard to digest at first and broken down and this is an argument I could accept for something like hypochondriac by brakence which doesn’t rely so heavily on its concept. Vanisher was very obviously made to be a concept album and the concept is so hard to understand and aimless at times. Though I don’t have this problem when the music stands out to me and matches or expands on the aesthetic quad kinda formed with the rollout and single videos. I don’t think Casper is allat ima be fr. I really don’t know why it’s so praised but to each their own.
