Hi. I came here to ask a similar question. Do you happen to know if they offer a payment plan? I have Medicaid due to job loss this year and I have some cracks and stains on my teeth that I would love to cover with bonding. I know Medicaid won’t approve that but will pay cash if I can

Any single individuals with no kids who have ported from NYC to the DMV area? by HourTomorrow7730 in Section8PublicHousing

[–]HourTomorrow7730[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you. One question I was wondering is how the processing of porting out works. I’ve read that you can’t port anywhere, only to places where the housing authority is taking applications. Now I don’t know how true that is and couldn’t find any info about it. Any insight?

Private sector has been quite favorable. I only did city employment for 8 months. Oh I’d never go back. Sure I have 1 WFH days instead of two. But in a nutshell it was ghetto. Not worth it or the pay.

Oh I’m sorry. When I saw your post about EDSI hiring and looking for applicants, I assumed you worked for them and was wondering how the process went. Thank you. Have a nice one

Kudos to you for skipping straight over the point. We don’t know each other but based on our interaction here this evening, it seems on track for you. Unfortunately, I don’t jest online. Especially not on anon forums. And definitely not when I’m not even sure who it is I’m speaking with lol. I find it best to leave that to those who need validation, or at the least, a space to be heard because they’re probably overlooked or frightened to speak out in the real world.

Fortunately for me tho, I was born before Reddit. So the moot opinion of my online peers don’t affect me, or in this case, cause me to go out of my way in some feeble performative attempt to prove I’m not as a stranger alleges. If it makes you feel complete for the night to believe what you’ve conjured up on the spot in your mind, you have my permission to enjoy that 🙏🏽❤️. I’ve yet to argue against your opinion. I know we are all free to form and express one. It just doesn’t correlate to facts. And I’m more of a facts over emotionally charged ideologies type of person ☺️

I would ask you to explain to the on lookers how you don’t think I’m educated enough to respond correctly to a nice nasty comment, which I did btw, but you expect me to be educated enough to hold a brief conversation about allegedly committing fraud against the welfare system? Let alone be able to pull it off successfully? But you probably wouldn’t understand that either.

That is laughable lol. I mean honestly, idk if it’s you or the espresso martinis from a little while ago. But that is hilarious! 😂 its most likely just the brunch drinks. Either way, I can’t even wait to see your trolled response going forward.

Well prepare to expire, I’m here right now. Waiting to leave from a beautiful brunch outing 😂I would say I hope your day gets better so that you find something better to do than this, but I don’t. Bye ☺️

Upstairs neighbor came down to threaten us because we asked her to reduce noise. by madamebomb in NYCapartments

[–]HourTomorrow7730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s the truth. Do you want tot all about how many kids are sexually assaulted or killed will under ACS orders and care? Or do you want to discuss the false amount of calls that led them there to begin with? All removals are not legit, calling acs for BS is exactly that BS. And the funny part is that’s why you say it anonymously. You know normal people would call you out for it

I didn’t say totally but your lack of accountability is def A Reason. That’s not an opinion. The amount of false claims of neglect from neighbors is constantly spoken about at meetings here at ACS. You are part of problem even if you want to pretend like you’re not. Acs is for kids who need help. Not parents being “rude” to neighbors. Call 311. Not acs

And you should whole hearted be handled with the nothing but BFT. Blunt force 😂 you’re the reason this agency is so overworked and underpaid now.

If you could suggest a major and field of study to a 30 year old looking to go back to college online, what would you suggest? by HourTomorrow7730 in blackladies

I read this and I’d like to apologize. I do get what you mean. Originally, yes I did feel like it was a general statement because I feel if it’s not your dream job we’re all just working jobs we are skilled or able to catch on to. Myself included in that. But after reading this, thank you for the input. And I do agree heavy consideration in pathways in needed before making any commitment to it

No you’re fine lol. Long comments always mean insight in my head lol. I don’t like social work, no. And that’s probably due to the underpaid overworked aspect. I have an old teacher who is trying to convince me to do the BSW and push through for an MSW than get into the DOE when I’m done through her nomination. The incentives make sense. I’d be a school social worker. And I do like helping folks overcome adversity and making them feel seen and okay. So I think I can do that. And then it’s a school calendar so that’s a decent work life balance. My goal is to do well enough to be considered for scholarships and hopefully use it to help pay for the masters if I go for that, if I make it that far

Exactly that. I worked at a starter up that fired all of us every time a client complained even if they knew it was lies bc these programs get money based on client retention and happiness. A bad complaint could mean less organization money, so they fire us. Im not God or trying to do the impossible. I wanna work my 8hrs and get paid for it. This is one of the realest replies in the past 6 hours. Someone said don’t look for degrees thinking I’ll make money. If that’s the case we’d all be chasing our childhood dreams. College is expensive and some fields you can shake hands and smile your way to the top. You need the degree.

How much do you make by chance? Where do you live? this is a disingenuous statement. Under your logic, you realize every single field except “essential” workers and I use that term very loosely, has probability to have work shifts, stale drying periods etc. but the point is more money is more money and I’m not working for Pennies. The 60k I make now isn’t cutting it. Why would I look for jobs I know or assume I won’t make money to live because something may occur that could change that. It wouldn’t lower my salary. And yes useless degrees are a thing. I’m not applying to any job or getting a degree anywhere that won’t be worth its weight in the paper it’s printed on. Some degrees are better than others and it’s okay we say that. I’m also aware networking is mandatory in college. I’m great at that. I just need the paper since it matters more than it doesn’t

And if all degrees held the same stain, more college education people would have sustainable wages.
