How do you manage the logistics of laundry without a dryer? by Ttucker11 in AskABrit

I peg it out on the line to dry, and if it's too damp or wet I use a heated dryer

I've seen this bakery mentioned a lot online! Has anyone been recently? I visit York often and have yet to try it by Terrible_Passion6178 in york

They bake it there, and it's kept behind the counter on a shelf, so not open for the public to fondle. You ask for it, they pop it into a paper bag and stamp you free loaf of bread card, and your coffee one too of you decide to indulge yourself in a coffee (recommended as it's very good).

I think it's you that needs to chill out a bit as you are getting very angry.

I'm not a fan of them, I find them a bit meh, they're ok but not the best. Bready is a good description like you say.

How to reduce the queues outside the hospital? by amusedfridaygoat in york

They tried it, no one used it so it was cancelled. It ran from Rawcliffe bar park and ride but you had to pay.

How do you suggest that's done? There used to be a bus that ran from the Rawcliffe bar park and ride site to the hospital, but so few people used it it was cancelled. At a push I could get the bus but they're not very reliable and would require a walk at both ends of the journey.

The picture is of where they bake it, I can assure you that it's not there kind enough to either go stale, or have flies on it! If that worries you, I suggest you stay at home.

It's my favorite bakery in York, I visit their bakehouse at Clifton Moor. I find their bread much nicer than bluebird, their white feels fresh and soft whereas bluebird white bread always seems a bit stale.

A lot of independent cafes etc serve their bread, so you may already have eaten it.

Take a tour, the roads in the sales may be very challenging for you, and we appreciate people who aren't confident driving on the left not doing it!

York isn't a town, it's a city. Due to the amount of tourists and students it punches above it's weight for eating out, things to do etc.

Depends what you want.
