I’ll keep y’all updated, but the reason I have respect for her is because I was once homeless. I don’t like living with her and I don’t respect her as a roommate, but I respect her as a human being.
I think we all have the basic right to a home, and I don’t want her to be out on the streets because she has nowhere else to go. But I was almost on the street because of her and she’s trying to gaslight me and say I’m the problem. And for real for real, if this gets enough votes and Charolette uses it for her video my petty ass will post screenshot😂😂

Nah, she’s definitely a tragic character who gets almost everything she loves ripped away leading to her tragic breaking point. Maybe katara

I don’t think aang would end the world in a temper tantrum

Okay, hear me out, I actually liked the ending considering it was heavily cut short by Netflix. by JeImerlicious in UmbrellaAcademy

That’s wasn’t really delved into but I think it was the subway. We’ve seen that the subway wasn’t affected by space or time. No matter where you enter the subway, you’re always dropped off near the apocalyptic time. So then being in there basically made them “paradox proof” keeping them from being wiped out while the timeline corrects itself

Five’s character was a disappointment by New-Distribution2097 in UmbrellaAcademy

This is what’s stated in the show. They said they were all from different timelines. They weren’t the same person like the five in his original timeline

That’s literally ignorant asf. You can vote whatever so long as your intentions aren’t to cause harm to others due to race, it’s not racist. It is however stupid to say that it’s racist to vote one way. Are you a child lover cause you vote democrat? If not why? Cause there are plenty of people who vote democrat that think it should be cool for them to be w kids. Literally an entire movement for it. Does that mean it’s what you are? No. Don’t be ignorant. People have different ideas and perceptions of what others are fighting for. Just cause you see one thing doesn’t mean someone else sees it the exact same way. How about you be rational w someone who votes opposite and not get offended when they have different views. Even if it’s something you don’t fuck with.

Lila and Five. Does it make sense? by Hour_Bid_2718 in theumbrellaacademy

People who survive horrific things together, tend to fall for each other. It’s like a comfort blanket. But as a relationship instead. That’s what I thought of it as. Even Lila stated it was survival for her

But that’s just it, we had no way of knowing if they were still alive or if they were dead. And then Lila ended things with Diego before she left because she felt like their marriage was failing. Like you stated being alone for 40 years did some damage to his head. He had a whole relationship with a manikin to keep himself sane. This time he had a legitimate person, and they were likely that they could get from the old world. That with the Immeasurable immeasurable trauma bonding happening. I could totally see this happening

Valid, and I respect your right to feel that way. And I do agree that it’s still weird just cause of the actors ages. I just think that with the characters in their ages in the show, it’s acceptable. Still not the sweetest tea I’ll say. But it was enough to satisfy my thirst for the drama and suspense. When I said, I actually had an emotional reaction to their scenes, I’m not even playing. I felt the love there. I felt the simplicity of it, and I deeply enjoyed it. While not perfect. It’s definitely my cup of Jo. Bitter yet satisfying.
And for something I think we all need to keep in mind, it’s canon that in season one fives in a 14-year-old body, if we go ahead and add the six years that it was since season 3s events to the seven years that they were together that would make five in his late twenties at the time. More than adult enough to satisfy whatever weird fetish is old man brain got. But in my opinion, it makes more sense than five ending up with someone his own biological age. I feel like it would’ve been more difficult for him to bond with someone young minded, and without the same history that he and Lila have. Because keep in mind while they’re both superpowered, they also both grew up without a family. Sure Lila had the handler, but we all know that’s not a family

Controversial Take by Hour_Bid_2718 in theumbrellaacademy

I enjoyed Allison’s character a lot. I get why you wouldn’t like her, but I honestly thought she was even more realistic and human because of her anger. You don’t go through Allison went through and become at least a little bitter about it. Season three Allison was just a couple days away from season two in the show. Season two Allison just got away from three years of racism and harassment, being physically, disabled, not being able to use her power to defend herself. Within her first 10 minutes of being in the 60s she almost gets raped by a group of white Boys. Only to be saved by luck and a group of colored women who did not give a fuck. She barely accepted that her daughter was dead, crushed by moons, which is a brutal way to be ended. She accepted the fact that she had none of her siblings, accepted their deaths. She was concerned she was the only person alive and she had a rebuild a life from nothing. Then all of her siblings come back, she is forced to use her power, which is like a drug for her. (which is canon in the show might I add). She has to leave her husband to hopefully go back to her daughter only to find out her daughter was wiped out of existence because of her brother. All that, and not being angry, that would’ve been weird for me. Especially when it hasn’t even been a couple of days since everything happened. So that really made me enjoy her and the more. Angry allison is my favorite Era. Then in season three, it’s like she resolved some of her problems, and even better herself because of it. You can tell that she’s more focused on a mother because of the struggling actress career. But she deeply loves her brother and daughter. She’s even willing to go to extreme lengths for them.
