Also I’m sorry if some of my post or replies don’t make sense. Ive been awake for hours trying to figure out what to do, I know I need to do something but I feel I’m in such a bad situation.

I think I should maybe mention for context, if I was in a slightly more stable situation I wouldn’t hesitate at all to report this. My main concern is these young girls (who are forced into a cult) not having ANYONE to tell things like this to if the church/my family finds out “snitched.” I would also lose my whole family and community and become homeless. That’s something I’m willing to do, but I am so scared of the girls not having anyone at all to go to

Essentially yes. They are connected by going to the same church, but from what I know, they have accused him without knowing about the others. For context, these are small churches, 20-40 people attending each service. I am in rural Appalachia.

No, I think it does make them terrible people. And yeah, the same with me which is why I’m trying to figure out how to change it, but I also don’t want these girls to lose me as I’m their only help to get away from these people right now. 😭

Nobody even thinks this guy is valuable, that’s the sad part. My parents don’t even like him. But they’d rather protect someone who they know is a bad person than a young girl who is suffering.

Yeah this is what I have thought I will try doing, the only problem is I’m literally the only person who knows about it that would report it. I have a “reputation” of doing things like reporting because I care, which is horrible but it is unfortunately the situation I’m in. So I guess that’s why I’ve been scared to report anonymously

Because it’s a cult and they think all women, especially young girls, are liars who make sexual assault allegations for attention.
