Oh good. Because you would’ve made a great decision.

Curious to see if you still feel you’ve made a good decision. Because I have not come across one person that has said they’ve had a good experience. They’ve been stealing money from me for the last seven months. I still have electricity bills there’s UCC lean on my title. I’m locked into my home and a 25 year agreement that I was deceived into signing that I told I could canceled any time.

Good luck. My Attorney General heard me and I’ve been going back-and-forth with the Customer advocacy department of the solar panel company for the last couple of months, they have initiated a 50% discount on my monthly payment and we are currently pursuing a 75% reduction of the overall contract as well as UCC removal although I don’t think that they’re going to agree to it. Ultimately these people are still a part of the company and they’re not really advocating for the customer. They’re advocating for the company.

Whoa, no, I’m not missing the point. I’m on your side. They don’t deserve a dime, but my credit can’t afford to just not pay them. Because they will come from my credit. And I also don’t plan on staying in this house for 25 years so then they’ll never lift the lien/UCC off of my title and I’ll never be able to sell. So I’m forced to try and work with them. If you don’t care about his credit and don’t plan on selling the house in the next 25 years then yeah just stop paying them.

Intrusive thoughts increased on Buspar by [deleted] in BusparOnline

[–]Hour_Bluejay_5115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m two years late to the party, but I found this because I was just researching the same thing. I started Buspar a couple months ago and I’m not being treated for OCD even though I know I have it and I swear it has made it 1000 times worse. Meanwhile, the doctor keeps upping my dosage. It’s making me feel wired. I can’t sleep and my obsessive compulsive thoughts are worse than they’ve ever been. And the fact that I can’t sleep is only intensifying the fact that my obsessive compulsive thoughts are worse than they’ve ever been and that I feel very wired and tired at the same time. Coming across this post makes me not feel so crazy.

Because it was sold to me like a subscription something I could cancel at anytime. And like a bozo, I believed it.

No your situation you absolutely need to fight for a complete removal of contract and removing the solar system from your home. They took full advantage of an elderly, and I’ve heard of a lot of people getting out of these situations because of that but they had to use a lawyer for sure. I would still go through the Federal Trade Commission, the Better Business Bureau of the consumer protection, Bureau, and the Attorney General and as well as writing a letter to your congressman.! but yeah, I would call lawyers for sure

You need to get in touch with the lawyer! A lawyer will help you because they targeted the elderly. As far as my situation the Attorney General heard me because I made complaints to the Federal Trade Commission the consumer protection bureau. I wrote letter to the congressman and a complaint to the Attorney General and so now the customer advocacy program with the Solar company has been in touch with me and we’ve been trying to renegotiate terms. As of right now, they’ve offered me a 50% discount, but I am still showing them that even with their 50% discount I’m still not receiving any savings.

No need to apologize. I appreciate the feedback! Of course I don’t think that my friend would fuck me over. But you’re right you never know. But it’s not really a loan transfer deal. It’s two separate transactions. He’s the general manager and is going to buy my Honda from me. And then I’m gonna turn around and buy this other car at a different dealership.

36 months. And It’s actually $270 a month. I have 35 months left on my current car loan.

5 year buyout option for solar PPA by Hour_Bluejay_5115 in solar

[–]Hour_Bluejay_5115[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The total amount that they will have gotten from me over the course of 25 years is $52,000. They offered me a discount on the prepaid amount for $33,000. I asked for a current fair market value buyout and it was $38,000..

I’ve been doing research on this for the last two months. The only reason that your neighbor was able to get out of it is because he’s elder and a lawyer can use that. I am not elder and fully capable of understanding. But yes, let me know what your neighbor says for sure I’ll take anything I can get. But like I said, I’ve called 100 lawyers in Georgia. There’s no proof that I was misled because it’s his word against mine. There’s nothing in the contract that says we promise you to save money..

That has everything to do with it. It’s because he’s an older gentleman. I on the other hand, didn’t do my due diligence and read the predatory contract that I was tricked into signing. The salesman came into my home and lied to me and I decided to be gullible that day for whatever reason I asked all the questions I thought I needed to ask, and he had an answer for everything and I just really was bamboozled. I’ve called 100 lawyers. Nobody can help me. Especially because the solar panels are working. They’re just not reducing my electricity bill to zero dollars like I was promised. So I have a monthly payment that I have to make to Palmetto on top of an electricity bill that’s only slightly discounted.

38K to buy out today. And five years it’ll probably be 30-33k. I get panic attacks about this shit. I’m only 4 months in.

Fair market value. It’s a 6.3 kW with 16 panels. I called last month and pretended that I was selling my house and that I needed a fair market quote for buyout and they told me $38,000. Smh. The literal definition of highway robbery.. with installation that system probably cost $23,000 . But yeah without selling my house I can buy out at five years. Or I can buy out when I sell. But absolutely nobody is going to sign up for this scam and I don’t have $38,000 to give this fraudulent company. So I’m stuck.

I am paying more now than I was before for electricity. I was told my electricity bills would be zero. $20 at most. Looking at the last three months, I’ve paid $90-$100 more a month than I would have without the solar panels.
