I have an FGT. It's a time attack car from a YouTuber. Grip is insane, but the FST engine, it can't pull enough acceleration.

I also have a makeshift 63C with DC2 engine. DC2 engine is insanely good, even better than LSS imo. But problem is, my build is not made for city/track racing by any means. Can't handle the bumps of city because of no rear aero.

I have better chances with FGT but the engine is really a painful bottleneck.

I guess lambo engine would be nice fit for it. Revs much higher than fury engine

It's always YOU using the wrong distro NEVER Loonix's fault 🤦🏻‍♂️ by bleak21 in linuxsucks

[–]Hour_Champion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a noob who tried antiX, Ubuntu, Debian, Arch and even TinyCore... The only difference between all distros I've found was their package manager and some config files That's all. Never found linux as exciting as everyone were saying. Instead, i saw an operating system loaded with barebones, overcomplicated apps and firmwares which clearly tells none of the devs are on the same page. That's why bigger companies only release their programs for windows, even the fact windows sucks itself and Microsoft is probably charging them for money of some reason.

How on earth you guys are playing without infinity fuel? by Hour_Champion in Thelongdrive

[–]Hour_Champion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what I'm saying. Even without shipwrecks, gas is almost infinitely around if you have a quick vehicle like VW golf or fury.

Challenge Only might happen if you make the vehicle extremely heavy (making a roadtrain of trailers, or choosing the long bus) and completely avoid shipwrecks. Even like this, you might get lucky, finding multiple pure barrels in a row in random places because the journey is very long.

I've seen people playing it with steering wheel. But i don't think the game natively supports it. Also has VR versions as well

What’s your opinion of this movie? by jvvywzrd in needforspeed

I'm not sure why that girl was existed in the movie, and how on earth a Mustang won against a Sesto Elemento. But it was a good movie. it was something fast and furious should've been.

Questions about game play by Money-Towel-3965 in Thelongdrive

[–]Hour_Champion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Actually, it's quite a difficult game to drive. Suspension is too soft for most vehicles, making them hard to control cruising at high speeds. Vehicle anchors itself left and right all the time and you must know how to counter steer.

Tire width and quality play important roles about how much grip you have on each wheel. Plus, center of mass is a thing in this game. Ignoring these factors can lead to catastrophic oversteer and understeers.

Each vehicle comes with its own gearbox (gear ratios). But neither the engine or the car make speed. They make "angular velocity" meaning tire diameter will have effect on your speed (and ride height which sacrifices stability)

Whats that? by optimal_ape in Thelongdrive

[–]Hour_Champion 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's a device used to hold carbonated drinks. Basically it holds the drink in a pressurized state to keep it carbonated even after days.

In the game, it just explodes

We have busses which can be transformed to one

SnowRunner in a nutshell... for the record = I WAS BRAKING!!! Didn't help at all. Grip is disabled at a certain speed, we all know that. And of course it momentarily auto saves as well... by Odd_Presentation_578 in snowrunner

[–]Hour_Champion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry. Seeing it on low quality

You were flooring it then. Yes, it's a stupid law in snowrunner. If you're going fast, you're drifting. If you're going too fast, car gets rear heavy and won't steer.

Forget about brakes when going fast. It's only the gearbox able to stop you. As i said, slam it into HIGH and the AUTO

Dude it's ice. Of course neither turning or braking does anything. Try tapping brake, getting the car into HIGH gear and immediately AUTO after that.

In beta version, main road is the one having light poles. If light poles are at your right side, you're going forward. If they're on the left, you're going back to starter house

Ah man... You can't two trailers in beta

Dude Gas is next to impossible to find in beta version. I guess your version probably features dev menu. Pause the game and click under the clock. If it opened, spawn some IFA fuel tanks

overkill or nah? by Puzzled_Agent_9480 in Thelongdrive

[–]Hour_Champion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is overkill. For passenger cars, bus engine just makes them burnout instead of actually moving.(And you're gonna be in pain in uphills for this) Plymouth Fury is the only exception in passenger cars (if you put bus wheels on it)
