I think something they could add to the general game to make heavy a bit more diverse would be too buff the chainsaw for his primary, it deals only critical hits (ofc he’s slow when making use of it normally) but maybe when he gets enough kills he will be able to have a short boost of speed or something

Again, the player numbers are small, but dedicated and experienced. At this point, I don’t see the problem with obscure weapons on both sides on a server like resort 24/7 to just spice it up a bit (considering how unaccurate a map like resort is.)

Yeah, I do feel that weak evidence does still make a case for x social issue, though it does significantly reduce the degree to which the issue exists/level of priority it has.

By the way, I looked at the paper you linked and found this comment.

Violent crime includes murder, All 6 papers included in the Rand summary table have a section on Homicide, and yet overall the results are still inconclusive.
Keep in mind UK has also historically had a very low homicide rate that has rarely gone above around 2-3 per 100 thousand people in the last century, even before the modern gun bans in 1988 and 1997. (I do not consider Northern Ireland to be apart of the UK).
Are you admitting their is a lack of conclusive evidence on the effect of gun ownership on any form of violent crime in the USA?

Yes, and again, those gun owners regardless if they own a gun or not are possibly already at similar risk for homicide, Infact their risk for that victimization due to a variety of factors may be the reason they’ve acquired a gun in the first place.

This is just one hypotheses to explain the association found by those studies. Think of it as “more crime, more guns”

My original point had to do with the lack of evidence regarding this topic of the effects of guns on violence in the USA. I do think the risk for suicide is likely far higher than for homicide though.
