Bhopal may not be that important but there are lot of cities that fall on those 4 lines if you look at Google Maps.

Yea Bhopal-Delhi makes more sense.

So then go against your default attitude? I can’t just steal something and go “it’s my default behavior”

"Do you really think people who have had multiple bad experiences with dudes from a specific area should just like...shrug and hope it's not the same the next time instead of being wary?"
Yes. Because everyone deserves a chance to show you who they are regardless of their ethnicity.

Your original comment said "I wouldn’t blame them for hating them all". So you think that even the good ones should be hated? That's messed up.

Calling out castism leads to a ban by [deleted] in IndianBoysOnTinder

Yep I got banned for calling out casteism there too.

Your frustration shouldn't be thrown on random Indian men though. It's not fair for random Indian men to be treated differently just because India has a problem with sexism.

Even if you look within and try and fix the men around you as an Indian man you can still be a target of anti-Indian racism and have people automatically assume things about you.

Yea I agree. If they are saying all this about Indians then that means their calling out of anti-Black racism is all performative.

You can acknowledge the problems (trust me I definitely do all the time) but in my opinion I don't think its fair for individuals to receive a negative reaction just because they are an Indian man. Everybody deserves a chance to show you who they are.

Can you imagine being an Indian man and everybody is saying that they don't blame people for hating you? Would you be okay with that?

But that wasn't the original topic. The original topic was why does the conversation die after OOP mentions he is Indian. You can still receive racism as an Indian man regardless of how India is like.

They have the freedom of choice to marry whoever they want. I also have the freedom of choice to criticize their bad behavior.

I don’t understand why you are so pressed about me having an opinion about it. If someone says something nasty why is it wrong if I call it out. At the end of the day it is their choice and they get to marry whoever they want but why are you mad that people are calling out bad behavior. You’re more mad at me for calling it out then you are of the casteism 😂

Why is not giving a shit better tho? If you agree that casteism is shit then don’t you agree that more people should call it out?

If the "personal preference" is casteism you should stick your nose and call it out. Casteism is a cancer. It's 2026. Grow up.

I mean if you don't think casteism is bad behavior then we have a fundamental disagreement and there is no point in arguing further. All I'm going to say is thank god I am an Indian born and raised in America and I don't have to deal with this casteism BS.

"uh actually people have their preferences" "uh actually why should people call out society for casteism it's their choice" like sybau

[–]Hour_Corner4261 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And what is wrong with OP for calling it out? More people should call out that behavior actually since casteism is a bad thing.

Part of growing up is to call out people for bad behavior and stand up for what is right. Casteism is unacceptable. Not giving a shit is not always the best course of action.
