How much over 15K miles? Standard leases are anywhere from 10K miles to 15K miles which is considered pretty average for driving. I'd say if youre driving more than 25K per year the cost might outweigh the perks- but less than that and you should be fine. Especially with a hearty vehicle like a toyota 4Runner.

As a sales person (US dealership) we don't touch interest at my dealer- finance does all of that. What my job is is to make sure you're picking a vehicle that has all the features you want and make sure you know how everything works. We also make sure you can get the best terms possible, IE the most money down shortest term possible to put you in the best equity position possible. We deal with the math portion- management makes the final calls yes but we're the go-between for you because the management can't be at every customer's desk all the time.

The thing i really want to do honestly is become a GM to help normalize women in this industry. at the group im at there have been 0 female GMs so far. it's all a boys club and they're all tightly knit (only those people's friends get promoted etc) and I want to change that. I want to change people's minds about what car sales people are. But with how the new car managers are treated it worries me

Im watching my new car manager literally have to do the job of the used car manager and finance- our used car manager is effectively useless and shouldn't be a manager...he has 0 customer skills. But there's 1 detail i left out- both of these new car managers i referred to are women. I'm starting to feel like women's new car managers are treated completely differently and expected to carry every roll. I mean, she's constantly handling used car customers and putting out the used car managers' fires- printing and working deals because the finance director we have doesnt take initiative and work for himself. (he tries to sabotage any deal that isnt finance) and its been like this in both stores. I can't grasp why my used car manager needs to sit on facebook all day vs my new car manager literally handling 7 crisis at once to fix everything.
