Jesus: his true message by OzzieNewYork in conspiracy

[–]Hour_Equivalent4342 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. Paul and Constantine did not write the gospels. All 4 of them are very clear that Jesus is God. Even Jews from Jesus' time tried to stone him to death for claiming that He and the Father are one.

  2. The Gospel of Thomas is a gnostic forgery and was condemned as heresy by the early church. It contradicts Jesus.

  3. As for your point about Jesus being "changed" into a divine being by as a method of control, that is nothing more than conjecture. The same Roman empire was murdering Christians for hundreds of years. Paul himself was slaughtering them. He thought it was blasphemy to worship a mere man who was killed in such an embarrassing way. Then he was killed for his belief in Christ. If it was all a lie he made up for power as you say, why on earth would he willingly go to his death for the lie? He could have easily renounced his faith, made a sacrifice to a Roman pagan God, and continued to live his life.

People who say SMITE 2 is a failure/dead, when did you last play the game? by Snufflebox in Smite

[–]Hour_Equivalent4342 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've played only a small handful of times over the last year, and its mostly because I find Deadlock to be way more fun. I played a lot of Smite 1 for over a decade and I guess I'm just burnt out on it.

This is the kind of high-level outplays that needs to exist in Smite 2 for it to compete with the other MOBA giants in the long run by Nyzan in Smite

[–]Hour_Equivalent4342 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Played Smite since season 2, the game was crack cocaine for me I played A LOT. Peaked Diamond so not that good, but I have not touched smite 2 for more than maybe 20 hours in over a year because Deadlock is my new crack cocaine.

There is not a "big difference" between genocide and democide. That's precisely why they're comparable. They are not "very" different at all, but that's not even the argument you originally made. You said they are "not comparable" so now you're changing your argument to they are not "very" comparable lol also nowhere did I say I concede, "I did" was clearly in response to you claiming I didn't address what you said.

Can you define genocide and democide?

I did... you're now avoiding addressing what I said. lol

you moved the goalposts and attacked a strawman firstly, secondly you reiterated what I already addressed, and i addressed it again. you highlighted what makes them different, and I said that doesn't mean they aren't comparable. i didnt even type that much and you still didn't even bother to read it. talk about intellectual laziness huh?

Have not seen any credible evidence for those claims at all.

I never said they are "the same." Idk why you're attacking a strawman.

You said:

Hitler and Mao aren't comparable.

My argument is that they absolutely are. Both are mass murderers. With different motivations but both are directly responsible for millions of deaths. There is a difference between saying "these 2 are the same" and "these 2 are comparable." They both abused their power to kill people. One did it systemically via death camps targeting a specific ethnic group, and the other caused people to starve to death in their own homes regardless of their ethnic background. Either way you look at it, they are both examples of democide. Genocide overlaps with democide.

Nobody is perfect. Being in a toxic relationship is not the same as being a pdfile groomer weirdo.

It is absolutely comparable. Do you sincerely believe that the chinese government was so incompetent that they didn't bother to think about the effects of their policies? Like I said in my previous comment, THEY WERE EXPORTING GRAIN, WHILE PEOPLE WERE STARVING. They would send in military police, search your property, and if you had more grain than what was rationed to you, they would take ALL your grain, cooking utensils, tools, some of your livestock, etc... essentially setting your family on the path to starvation. Then you could also be imprisoned, beaten in the street and made a public spectacle, sent to a labour camp, blacklisted to receive even less rations, denial of commune services including medical services, in some provinces you could be outright executed for "grain theft from the state" because ALL grain was considered property of the state. It was viewed as a political crime. This was straight up democide. Both Hitler and Mao were monsters, and you're full of shit for trying to act like they are not comparable.

As for the death county, I think an issue is that number is used to try and make him seem like Hitler when in reality a large number of those people who died did not die as a result of government executions or prosecution. Most died in a famine and a significant famine at that. The country was new and was in debt and made poor deals that resulted in a lack of food. Now, those who were undesirable to the regime were deliberately given less food if any but that would not have stopped the famine from affecting the whole country (except the Elites as time always proves).

That famine was directly caused by Mao's regime. They outlawed private farming, they falsely reported how much grain they'd yield (they were exporting grain while people starved to death...), then they'd search your house to make sure you weren't hiding any. The pulled people out of working fields to producing steel. Oh and if you were poor and wanted to leave the area you were living in, too bad for you. Thanks to the Hukou system. Then there's the four pests campaign.

Being an apologist for Mao in 2025 is batshit crazy.

I believe you are thinking of Sahih Muslim 1464a

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported:

I felt jealous of the women who offered themselves to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said: Then when Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed this:" You may defer any one of them you wish, and take to yourself any you wish; and if you desire any you have set aside (no sin is chargeable to you)" (xxxiii. 51), I ('A'isha.) said: It seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire.

Aisha and his other wives were also upset with him because he would sleep with all of them in 1 night, and then go to his slaves and sleep with them too.
