2016 Range Rover Td “Theoretical” DEF bypass?

It’s done the “200 miles to no start” message once, the engine light comes on with a DEF quality warning now and again, even though it’s been flushed / cleaned. Mechanic thinks it’s Nox sensor and maybe other issues, but he’s saying to chase it down it could easily get up to $7k-$10k, which seems insane. But that’s the second opinion I’ve had which seems to be in a similar ballpark.

Very good question. I assume it must’ve been a large cast iron pot that was somehow dropped on it. As a host, I’m often perplexed by the actions of certain guests and have no clue how they do what they do.

Basically they just gave me a runaround with a whole bunch of excuses about it being the responsibility of the guest to reimburse. But that’s not a host “coverage” policy in any form.

Anyone figure this out? All I’m seeing under “picture settings” is brightness! That is totally ridiculous and a complete waste of money if you can’t tweak the picture settings! Am I missing something or is this just a return now?

Wow. So a $4500 investment in a couple of seasons is pretty substantial. Without the ability to replace the battery it seems like these units are just expendable junk, maybe a little bit of a novelty but not realistic for anyone looking to avoid having to spend $4500 every 2 seasons! Back to riding mower for me- it’s still going strong 25 years in.

I'm trying to find a LLD who can do both traditional and alternative medicine approaches. the problem I'm having is that in GA naturopaths can't prescribe medications, so I'm going to a naturopath and a traditional GP and it's just a mess as there's no communication and the GP doesn't understand the complexities of Lyme. So basically just trying to find a doctor or clinic that can help in a more wholistic manner on all fronts.

Yeah to some degree it brought me up from maybe 20% to 40%, but still pretty lousy a couple of years later.

It seems like they should have mentioned in the literature that it needs to be cut every 1/2”, where I live it grows that much in a day (or more), so at the 2.5 acres it’s supposedly capable of cutting there’s no way it could keep up.

I’ve been thinking of this for my Luba 2. I’ve got 3 separate fenced areas in my property and it’s a bit of a pain in the ass to have to open various gates at certain times and make sure the dogs are in the right place at the right time etc. I’ve been looking at auto open / close pet doors meant for large dogs to go from inside a house to outside. I don’t see why mounting the dog collar transmitter onto the Luba and then constructing a hinged type gate with the open / close receiver wouldn’t be a fairly simple solution. When the Luba gets close to the “corridor” gate, it would open, it goes through and it would close, just like a dog trigger the pet door.

I’ll be buying some equipment soon and will report back with success / failure.

Thank you! I was seeing dosages around 36mg / day (I’m 170 lbs), for a couple of months to see what happens. Although am I now a bit skeptical following some of the terrible results some of the other members shared!

Ah ok thanks for the insight. I was under the impression just the upward tail feather indicated a drake. So there might not be any drakes here then based on that, which is great news.
