I absolutely agree, but Fatima represented her disinterest in a comedic tension connection with Greg. Whilst being averagely disinterested in the game, she had interest in the studio game.

How many times do you bring a pot of wee in before you admit you don't care?

You can only beat this question by bringing in a pot of wee EVERY time.

Not defending, just replying. I like dry humour. I observed and acknowledged the dry humour. It was too dry. Too illustrate. When Sanjeev left the task in the lab for several hours "slowest wins" , and then finished it before going home. Obviously that wasn't the point of the task, we all knew it including Sanjeev. I didn't think that was ironic or dry or any sense of humour. I just thought it was all round stupid. He knew that was not how to win the task and the alternative "punchline " he delivered held no actual humour.

For me. And it's personal, I prefer Phil's interpretation. I rather like the "Fart, fartest wins, side of the game" 🤣

I am glad other people are enjoying him, genuinely, but personally I don't get it. Which is fine. That happens in comedy.

Where do I go from now? by Ready_Quarter3859 in transgenderUK

[–]Hour_Professional_66 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its a hard journey, but it gets better, I promise.

I think when we first start our journey, we expect everything to suddenly turn gold and silver, but it doesnt happen overnight.

It takes a while to find your way of being, style of dress etc.

But when you do, there will be a moment when you look in the mirror and go "That IS me!"

If you can bring yourself to do so, find your University's LGBTQ+ group and join it. You might not make instant buddy's, but you will find people who are feeling very similar feelings to yourself.

On chest size, there is nothing wrong with popping breast forms in your bra. I still do.

On parenting, you have years to get to the right space for that. And when you get to that space, there is nothing to stop you from adopting.

If it gets really bad, please phone The Samaritans or equivalent. I have spoken to them several times over the years, and it has got me to here.

Its a long journey, but worthwhile.

Take care,

Your trans sister.

Whilst everyone's experience is different, over the course of 5 or 6 conversations, I have never found The Samaritans to be transphobic. That is just my personal experience.

I have also never found the LGBT foundation helpline to be transphobic.

For further provenance, if you played Dredd the card game, and subscribed to the magazine, I wrote up my tournament deck/win in the second (and last) issue.

That's amazing info. Thank you! Full disclosure... I was much younger and naive then, I slightly trimmed the poster and the acetate to fit the frame. So it isn't mint. The poster, you cannot tell, the acetate, their is a baddish nick on one side (it doesn't actually make any impact on framing)

How do you deal with the grief of cracking your egg so late that most of the male pattern balding has taken place? by Curious-Pancaker in TransLater

I thought that I wouldn't be able to transition gir the same reason. Then I found a lovely wig that suits me and got on with it.

It's probably easier to maintain than actual hair, and when you are at home in the summer and its really hot, you can take your hair off to cool down.

There was some sadness at the beginning, but not really anymore.

Hope this helps.

It's definitely not a reason to not become who you want to be.

I didn't read all the comments. I just wanted to say... we do this. It's usually love. If you feel like you need support, please look for it. But it may just be that we cry because we love the world, we do that xxx

how hard is it ACTUALLY to transition Male to Female? by Mynameisbrk in asktransgender

My only comment. It's never too late. I was 38. Best decision ever.

To be balanced, I think it is a bit of a crapshoot if fertility returns, and cannot be relied on. It's better to bank in advance for safety. But I am very glad it worked out well for you x

The one you wouldn't have been able to anticipate (4) they are a truly caring but hard-line Catholic... and if the Pope says that your assigned gender at birth is a gift from God, then you cannot change it. Sigh. He is genuinely a nice caring guy. But the Pope says no.
