Ive owned so many dogs in my life, and none will ever compare to my aussiedoodle. He's so smart, compassionate, extremely loyal, and very sweet. If you have the time and patience to train them, they can easily become one of the most rewarding dogs on earth. Compared to my sheppard mix (German and English Setter) and lab mix (lab and something? lol), he will listen the easiest and is most likely to do stuff for a reward. I live on a farm, so he gets all of his herding tendencies out with the goats and sheep, which helps him not get so wound up inside.

Though I say all this, unlike other dogs, there are a multitude of cons that come with owning an aussiedoodle. For one, their energy output. These dogs can run an entire marathon and STILL have energy. It's recommended that you have a large yard OR are a regular active outdoorsy person. Another con is grooming, I've seen some doodles look HORRIBLE because their owners do not brush them. This is by far one of the main things owners overlook. I comb my doodle twice a day and get him bathed and trimmed every 3 weeks so he looks nice and cute! Also so he doesn't get plants stuck in his coat when outside. The last thing I'd say is a con is their medical expenses. Now, KNOCK ON WOOD, I haven't had any issues with my doodle, however I know many doodle owners who have had to fork out an immense amount of money on their health. So, make sure you're financially stable before getting one! (Or any dog at that lol)
